Biosphere
Holy fuck, thanks to your recommendation right now I'm listening to Biosphere's album 'Substrata', which according to wiki is one of the classic ambient albums. Absolutely fucking amazing so far, I'm on track 4. Very nice. It could be all the beers and some whiskey I had earlier - but I just think thats the icing on the cake. I'm getting this album to trip to as soon as possible. Thanks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Substrata_(album)
One of my favorites
Check out Bombay Dub Orchestra, not many people have heard of them
Album is named "3 cities"

Fucking love Bluetech. Him, Shulman, and Ott take the cake for me.

Ott is amazing. I have all of Shulman and Bluetech on my playlist, but I don't listen to them a whole lot.
Some of their tracks are awesome. I just have to listen to them more to find some more songs I like.

This. You definitely gotta have good sound to get the most of that album. Very subtle frequency ranges.
Pete Namlook's 4 Seasons is really good too.
Too many to count.
Just tune into di.fm's space and ambient channel and listen. That's what I did to discover new ambient artists.

Yeah, and thanks for making this thread, I learned of some funk in here. Speaking of funk, there's a 17 album discography of Biosphere on demonoid that I'm getting at the moment. The internet wins again.

I searched for Eno's name because I didn't want to read the thread at the time and it wasn't found. Brian Eno is the king, God, and everything else of ambient music.
