Ha! Didn't see that mentioned.
I think that fits nicely.
@Niwita: Without a spore print we can only guess and I think Hygrocybe calyptriformis is a good guess at that. You'll need to collect some specimens and do some research if you'd like a more thorough id.

Like I said, I would have taken a specimen but I was unable to. Technically it's illegal to take anything out of the reserve, so I can't go in carrying a basket.
Eventually, as I become more accustomed to the systems and rules, I'll probably figure out an effective way of bringing out soft-body specimens, as so far I've only been able to take out polypores in a cloth bag inside my jacket pocket.

I definately wouldn't rule out Entoloma. At least not without a spore print. I think there's a good chance that it is an Entoloma. I hope you find more and get a print.
Also, the gill colour is not a very reliable way of guessing spore colour, especially when it comes to entoloma. Sometimes the gills are white, yellow, pink, or even blue (check out Entoloma hochstetteri - an awesome little mushroom)
Whatever it is... it's a very cool find!

The stem is classic Hygrocybe, but the gills seem a bit crowded. Spore print will decide. Cool mushrooms.

If you're not allowed to take things out and don't want to worry about the legal crap, could you possibly take prints while you're there? Maybe go to the spot, pick some and set up some printing and then enjoy a picnic for a few hours?

Meh, I think as long as I figure out how to take them out secretly it's not a problem.
It's not hurting the environment like taking out say, a baby elephant would.

Yeah, it would probably be best to spore print your baby elephants inside the reserve. Even the babies would be too big to hide.

Wow, that really does look similar.
Reading this page showed me how little I know about taxonomy.
I'm thinking Entoloma > subgenus Leptonia > section Cyanula > species Roseotinctae
Anyone have information on this species? Thank you The Thinker for resuscitating this dead end of an ID!
EDIT: Can't actually find pictures of E. roseotinctae so I'm going with The Thinker's suggestion of E. catalaunicum
