You may find this quote interesting.. Meher Baba said this during the great depression.

Agreed with the OP. The corruption of the world is nothing but a reflection of the corruption of our own personal minds. It's like a snowflake causing an avalanche, but nobody is willing to take responsibility for their snowflakes. Everybody seems to believe their actions do not matter, so, this results into mass choas, ie, the world like it is today.

Indeed. And I think if we change our individual snowflakes, actually take a look and accept the dark parts of ourselves, it can be like an avalanche through the Self.

it's not as if others havent made millions as well, in the last couple of
decades more millionaires have been made than in the previous thousand years*
