I went to a rave that had what everyone was saying were amazing dubstep dudes. I was rolling and unimpressed. The only thing I enjoyed was watching people dance to dubstep. It was so puppet like, so much pop locking, but thats not my thing. I like music that has a fluid continuous, flow, rolling along for when you're rolling face.

when i dance to dubstep i dont do the whole popping and locking sort of b-boy stuff. i sort of do the melbourne shuffle and step/stomp around  to it and have all these arm movements and stuff. most people in the dub scene dont dance like that , i guess its cos im naturally a raver from melbourne , and hey thats how i dance ! i like dancing to dub tho because its sort of like slower music and you can dance all night and flow with it real well and not get tired at all, however at a rave with like hard trance or hardstyle playing, after like 3 minutes of raving im out of energy, and by the end of the night im wrecckeddddd.

VIVA LE DUB !

The reason why I don't like dubstep is because I need a melody in my EDM. It's kinda annoying to me for some reason when the bass creates the melody....bass is suppose to be the support in EDM's structure not at the front in my opinion. Also dubstep sounds a shit load like reggae to me which I don't really like either....but alas I see where the appeal is especially with the stoner crowd.

That was alright though the first half of the song sounds more to me like breakbeat than dubstep..

actually, i'll take dubstep over trance ANY DAY.

in the end, minimal tech, IDM, or drum and bass is where it's at.

:billymaythumbup: I totally agree except for psy trance, I find it a lot better than the classic trance stuff

listening to some psy breaks lately

OSOM FOR FUCKING PRESIDENT!

Anyway have a taste of Belgium's core/breaks artists... I love this country. There is so much music here this is just a pinch of how great it is over here :datass:

"Ninja Columbo DOES LOVE Belgium. It’s one of the greatest places to play and hear great big party music. Their crowds are so open minded as are the tastes of it’s producers and DJ’s. It’s got some legendary artist’s. For this little compilation i asked some of the heroes and some of the future talent of the Core scene there to do something for me, whether it a DJ set (Mr Orange), or super smashed up pop selection peppered with scatterbreaks all over the damn shop (Sickboy). Theyre mental and i love them for it."

1. Drums Are For Parades - Dead Katz (Droon's Shot Mix)
2. Igneon System - World Recarnation
3. Kaoss Engine - The Giant Wolf 2
4. Mr. Orange - Dj Mix
5. Sickboy - The Unstoppable Universe
6. X&trick - Full Moon
7. Zat & Kepazoid - Join The Gang

Not derailing this thread but we're talking in general now anyway... The first track of that release, haha I predict that the dubstep haters that check it out will get a  what the fuck feeling even more... You should see the crowd . FUCKING ACE FUCKING HARD!

Also: Best acid set in Belgistan :rave: seems like i'm the only one that is talking about those genres sometimes... Hopefully atleast one of you guys will download that shit and like it

you people actually listen to this shit? I just listened to a few of these songs, it was fucking hard to do! This is more annoying to me than country music and country sucks.

I hated dubstep music until I tried listening to it while on obscene amounts of MDMA and psychedelics

then something just clicked in my brain

now I love it. but it has to be super grimey, none of that distance shit

I think part of the reason I really like dubstep is that it seems like it is not designed for humans to listen to

and most of the time I dont feel like a human

Meh, I listen to music sober and influenced by drugs.

Ketamine and dubstep at home if I should really stick a drug on it. But yeah candyflipping at a dubstep (if quality set) is crazy.

breakcore, chaooosssssss
