I wouldn't contact them, but i certainly don't think its crazy for you to want to. I can see myself feeling the same way if i were in your situation. But in the end, really, just don't do it. No need to drag up all that shit for them, it will just be a huge stressful them for them I think. Good luck with this.

You've got a good heart for wanting to do this. I'd want to do the same. But unless it's him apologizing to them (which wouldn't do any good anyway) can cause more harm than good.

Its not like its out of the blue. Theyve recently been on tv...court dates for repeals and all that. The way I see it is how many random people contact them with condolences? Why cant I? Because Im related? Thats bs...

I don't know about you but I think it will look more like you stalking them and I'm sure they'll feel the same way. They'll have a restraining order put on your ass and you'll probably be investigated given the circumstances. You'll look like quite the fool even if your intentions were legit.
I'd distant myself from that shit as far as possible.

I wouldn't do it 20 years they've probably moved on. I wouldnt want to drag all that up again for them. I'd say the reason you feel compelled to contact them is more because you feel bad about what he did, unless you told him to do it that's not your baggage. If you need to talk to someone about what happened talk to your uncle.

u know what dude, I changed my mind. Maybe u should do it.
When someone kills ur parents like that, thats not something u forget about over time. Im sure they still think about it everyday. I lost a loved one in a far less tragic situation, and i know i think about it everyday. i can only imagine how they feel.
That and i think theyre mature enough to realize that ur uncle killed their parents, not u. They not gonna think hurting u or even getting a restraining order on u will do any good.
And especially if theyve been in the media about it and stuff lately. I HIGHLY doubt that u would be digging anything up. Its not something they forgot about.
If anything, I would say it would show them that u actually care about what happened to them, and what ur uncle did.
But then again, i wouldnt even know what to say to them. Like how are you doing? I realize my uncle murdered ur parents, but I highly disagree with what he did and even though theres nothing i can do to help, I am here to show my concern.
who knows, maybe they would appreciate that. But u certainly wouldnt be digging up anything they forgot about...
Like OH SHIT THATS RIGHT, SOMEONE DIDDD KILL MY PARENTS! AND UR HIS NEPHEW?! RAARRRRRR.
