I feel compelled to contact survivors of my uncles killing spree

About 20 years ago my uncle and a friend broke into a cabin in the mountains. They were robbing the place when the family came home. Woman and daughter shot execution style. The husband was shot in the face, then set on fire with the cabin...which he survived. My uncle then kidnapped the two young daughters that were with them and stole the car, got into a chase with police for a while and crashed into a gas station.
Well needless to say it kinda split my family apart. Things got kinda weird. Im reading up on the net about it and come across the names of the two girls (now most likely in their late 30s). A simple facebook search sends me right to them. I dont know why, but I feel like sending them a message. Just a simple hello, apology kinda thing. Im sure theyve never heard from anybody in the murderer side of the family. I know it sounds like a bad idea and Im talking myself out of it. Would you do it? It was like 20 years ago. Im sure the event ruined their lives...do I want to stir that up again after all these years?

Just trollin.
If I were you I probably would avoid contact lol. It could only bring up bad memories.
EDIT: I wouldn't want someone to make me remember a time when my parents were killed executioner style.

Put yourselves in their shoes... Unless you can offer them new information on the murders or something, I wouldn't.

dude that tripped me outt. thats unbelievable that ur uncle did that and ur connected to the whole thing..
but then again, every fucked up criminal in history has family members right? i guess we just never give the time to think about THEM for a second because were so caught up on the victims family members. (wtf is wrong with us right??)
OP, maybe u should make a movie..the life of the nephew of a murdering crazy robber uncle. First of its kind, im sure ull do well, just give me a cut!
And i didnt mean to sound disrespectful to ur uncle, we all make mistakes. But he shot two woman execution style? dayummmmm, hes gonna burn for that one.
did the crash into the gas station kill him like it would in the movies?(in other words, did he nail the pump?!)
sorry for the questions, but did u actually know ur uncle? was he a cool dude? perhaps a few too many acid trips or something?
and last but not least, do NOT contact the victims family members. Unless u want to seriously put ur life in jeopardy..seriously though, u never know. Hell if it was me, id probably try and come find u...
Just my 2 cents, i know how much u appreciate it
Good luck and for the love of god, do not contact those poor poor souls, just pray for them.

Yeah I knew him. Just a quiet loner type. Not sure about too many acid trips, but he was into drugs. He escaped from a halfway house just days before actually. The crash didnt do any harm to anybody, just a little wreck. Hes currently on death-row waiting for an execution date. Its getting stirred up a bit because another mans death warrant was signed recently, and hes about to be executed. Theres been talk about my uncle on the news and when theyre going to sign his warrant. Could be awhile...

There's easier ways to pick up chicks. I think it would be a creepy story to tell about how you met when your uncle killed her parents and kidnapped her. Don't do it.

Sorry mate but your a fucked up A-moral cunt to even be thinking of something so cruel.
I cant even comprehend why you would think about this for even a second let alone put the time in to post about it.
You sir, are fucked up.
Instead of contacting them and their families you should just kill yourself, less people would be upset.
