the bad rap on meth just makes me laugh at the people that blindly follow it
anything can be good in moderation
but i will say ill never consume homemade meth, it will need to be made in a lab with real precursors and real lab equipment if i ever consider trying it

I think they give Modafinil (Provigil) to pilots now. And when I was first in military, before piss tests, I got the best of drugs... Thai sticks in Pattaya Beach for 15 sticks for 3 dollars, lebanese hash in Italy for 20 a gram, Philippine weed $100 for half a kilo, Phenmetrazine, speed, etc, at pharmacies in Spain and Japan, China white heroin for $10 a gram in singapore--that was so strong that 2 guys on the ship snorted lines of it thinking it was cocaine, and dropped dead. I barely snorted a couple of speckles of dust and was puking for hours. I got out when they started doing piss tests and it got fucked up to party.

All foriegn things in your body are dangerous in some capacity.
Drugs are the same.
Drugs have different effects and side effects, both positive and negative.
Its up to the user to be intelligent and use responsibly.
Don't blame the drug for the lack of user responsibility.
People who think they are high and mighty enough to make the statement 'meth is bad, but this xanax im eating is ok!' for example, are morons. Both have nasty addiction effects, nasty withdrawal of differnt types, both highly dangerous.
Alcohol and benzo's work in a VERY similar way in your brain. If you think its 'ok' to have a couple shots of tequilla, then your taking about the same risk as doing some meth. If you are the type who just keeps on drinkin if its around, spends all your money on it, or ANY drug for that matter, then you need to be EXTRA careful dealing with everything in general and pay EXTRA attention to how it works, what th dangers are and how to stay safe.
Not being a moron = safe drugs (as safe as they can be at least)

Yeah I agree, I used to make this mistake, but don't think that just because alcohol fits the bill as a "hard drug" that all hard drugs are equally dangerous. Alcohol's worse for you than meth in some ways, but amphetamine abuse has ENORMOUS mental and physical health consequences not directly stemming from its pharmacology.

Taking to much amphs and staying up for a few days and nights without eating a lot leaves you wrecked.
But alcohol is a bitch aswell though, equally dangerous.

Nobody stays up for weeks eating only candy and drinking only soda because of constant drinking is my point, even though I think alcohol is probably far more directly poisonous due to its pharmacology.
In the end, amphs win out IMO because the net effects of abuse are far worse and more pervasive.
I think amphetamines should be legal and regulated, though.

the point was about abusive levels. There are 'safe' levels of meth you can take as well. Hell, there are a shitload of fatal toxins you can take at 'relative' safe levels for long periods of time.
Obviously no drug is exactly like another drug in its effects both positive and negative. The point of using alcohol or cigs or any other readily available acceptable drug as a comparison is that they are all fucking nasty when abused. Now how much is 'too much' is debatable and on a per person basis.
There is nothing close to a black and white answer or solution to intelligent drug use other then DONT if you can't do it safely. The stigma's against certain drugs are so very rarely really about the damage of a drug, and more about money and politics and brainwashing you at a young age. Ignorance and stupidity are evils that should be getting blamed, not the chemical.
Just for the record, I despise meth and almost went the wrong way with it when I was young, caught myself thanks to a friend turning shiztophrenic, left the state and started over. So I'm not defending it because I like it. IMO the sooner people can learn to read through stupid stigma's and ad campaigns, and try to learn more about the biology and chemistry going on behind the scenes, the sooner the harm reduction can start, the less people we have hooked on said drugs, the quicker the war on drugs can be minimized and stopped, the healithy we can be, etc, etc rant rant rant.

IMO the only "right" way to do meth is a very small bump, very early in the day, very occasionally.
Anything else is dangerous - at least a little harmful, and a VERY slippery slope for some people.
