No big deal IMO.
It's an individual thing and they have the right to do what makes them happy

I can't help but laugh when I see a guy dressed as a woman. Especially if he has fake boobs. Even more so when they're dressed more trashy than me.
Transsexual with a classy getup is okay. It's just silly when his ass is hangin out
On the flip side, I have seen some really manly women...
Idunno. It's whatever they wanna do. I just think it's silly that they feel they need to go to such extremes

Of course they're "normal" - why, do the ones in your area have 3 heads, fish gills, or anything else to make you presume otherwise? Geez...If they are "quirky" as people sometimes, maybe it's because they get given so much shit by the rest of society. Just a thought

I think I can understand the tendancy. I think about what it would be like to be a girl all the time.
Most of the transexuals I have met or seen on tv seem like cool people.
Normal means the full range of human expression.
So Yes. It's normal.

I have encountered a good sample size of transsexuals and can say most have been very well adjusted, know who they are, and are comfortable with it.
It takes a great deal of balls to reinvent yourself and present it. I would say in no way are they "normal" but extraordinary.

I can understand that. There's just a guy from my home town that not only wants to dress like a girl, he wants to dress like a girl that's hookin it. That's what I find odd about it and what makes me laugh a little

They certainly are not normal. They have a right to do whatever they please and if it makes them happy, I am 100% happy for them.
From a psychological standpoint though it is definitely not 'normal' to want to alter yourself in a manner like that.
We should remember that our own realities and what is normal is completely subjective to our own minds of course.

I also believe most of these types of people are this way because of neurological factors or trauma.
Some are probably born with a predisposition due to hormonal and other chemical factors, some are probably this way due to traumatic experiences.

A good friend of mine is a post-op woman. If she hadn't told me, I would never have known. She's just a normal woman.

Actually she is still a man. He has X and Y chromosomes.
Not hating on it, but I don't think it is truly possible to alter your gender 100% from what you are born with.

Is a common view in order to make sense of it, however there is no evidence to support this. From my experience most just feel incomplete living as a gay man.

Gender is switchable, sex is not.

She looks like a woman, she acts like a woman, she thinks like a woman. She's legally female.

There is not much evidence to support it, however we do know/think that a lot of what you would call "abnormal" functions are caused by predispositions in our genetics.
Neurotransmitters perhaps? I'm not a scientist, I'm just stating opinion.
Think back to elementary school. I know that there were certain kids who you could tell were more than likely not like the others, most of these kids ended up finally coming out later on in life even though it was obvious to most from an early age that something was not quite all there.

Gender is switchable, sex is not.
Gender roles are switchable, I think there is a difference.

That's good for her if she is happy living that way, I mean that. I hold nothing against anybody, I have many friends from all different walks of life.
However, legality and biology don't always go hand in hand.

WTF is normal anyway? Who gives a shit. I think of gender and sexuality as a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Study the biological origins of sex and you'll see why.
What is abnormal is some folks' insistance on what others should be doing, saying, thinking, feeling. Just don't fuck with me or others, and otherwise you can do whatever you want as far as I am concerned.
