I must have been about 11 when I saw it, I don't think I was old enough to appreciate it. I don't actually remember one thing about the movie

No I haven't seen that. I barely watch any movies at all because I don't have any tv service, I usually play video games in my free time. I do have access to a friends netlix account so I can watch some stuff instantly, I'll have to see if that option is available for fried green tomatoes
I need to go find something to watch, I am slowly dying of insomnia and boredom

fargo and O! brother where art thou are both fucking brilliant.
fargo's a bit slow, for sure, but if you have any interest in film as an art rather than explosions, pretty lights and cliche music, the cinematic merit is absolutely there to be admired. great acting, artistic camera work & light play, and no shortage of subtle themes one may not catch on the first viewing.
and i've never actually heard of someone not liking O! brother where art thou. such a fun epic.

Man Fargo is in my top ten list for sure. Don't understand how anyone could not like it. It is better than 98% of the trash that hollywood has put out since. You must have really high standards for movies, or your taste in them is shit.
It is compared to Pulp Fiction because it is a well acted directed and written movie put out about the same time that is graphic and makes the viewer think. My top 2 movies of the 90's.

How is this movie as good as O Brother Where Art Thou? I loved that movie!
I think the acting was good, but there was too much waste. I didn't give a fuck about this pregnant lady cop and was waiting the whole movie for her to die. I was pretty disappointed that it ended with her and her husband, yet another character I didn't like.
I like most good movies, I'd assume we all have similar top ten lists. I didn't even hate the movie, it was all right, but nowhere near what I expected. Good acting is great, but not when its an average story.
I'm off to watch The Life of David Gale, hopefully Kevin Spacey can raise my spirits.

That movie is great. It's off-beat, but the characters are awesome. And Steve Buscemi usually makes movies better than they are. I like how the two cops, with their fucking retarded accents, actually turn out to be pretty smart.

Absolutely love that movie, especially William H. Macy. I guess I can see how you might not like it but I thought it was perfectly brilliant.
Agree with PurpleGiant on Steve Buscemi, he's gotta be one of the funniest actors I've ever seen.
