Admitting it is the first step.

hahaha yes could be! What if it turns out that i'm right. Then what! But logic will say that i'm not and that I have a delusional belief system even though I already knew that

However, many people have very dark and terrifying 'afterlife' experiences that are rarely mentioned in the popular literature BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FIT the fluffy bunny image of 'heaven'.

Note that not one Muslim has ever seen Jesus nor one Christian has ever seen Mohamed (unless they were brought up one way and later converted). What does this fact alone tell us?
I understand. But.. there are cases where the individual shows no brain activity whatsoever.
And.. many cases in which the individual is very very religious yet comes back with a report that kinda reminds me of a psychedelic experience.
To be most honest , i think the NDEs most resemble and ayahuasca experience. but yea.. nvmnd. Im just ranting a tiny lil bit..
anywho how can you logically explain the reason for the similarities in NDES being the , as you say almost identical structure of our brain , if we register no brain activity.
For me.. the only logical thing to assume is either that our devices that measure brain activity could be inaccurate , or to assume that it has nothing to do with the brain. Or.. to simply say that a bunch of people , including doctors are lying.
I'd like to know how you approach it.

Mattm said: Well it seems that when people die they tend to see a white light is it? Well what if that white light is rebirth and you are about to be born again. Does that mean when we bring people back from death we are actually causing miscarriages and are disturbing that natural order of things? I mean think about it. When someone dies it would make sense that all memories of their past lives are wiped in order to start out on a clean slate and gain more knowledge from the previous generation. I used to hear this saying that every time someone dies a baby is born. Any thoughts? This could be illogical but really what isn't.
What's the "natural order" of things?

I like to think that birth arises out of the need nature has to express itself. Thus not for every birth/death is there a need for a renewal to keep the balance so to speak. The balance can be found in the causative field. Here, causes and effects MUST equal out! I think.

It's not logical or illogical until we stumble upon some confirming or contradictory evidence.

In essence I could safely believe this logic to be true due to the fact it can't be disproved or proved. It's all just speculation but there's really no point in me pondering over it because I will most likely never know whether or not this happens. That's why I like ideas like these because it's fun to think about but it serves as a small amount of purpose in my life...or maybe it doesn't who knows.
