One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
You are only a freedom fighter if you fight for freedom.
Fighting for freedon in another country isn't fighting for freedom. I'm pretty sure America has done a lot for Mexico and they aren't fighting for any thing but a free ride. Lie cheat and steal is the way for mexico. It's their culture and governments way.

oh wow... so all this has been you talking out of your ass and citing opinions from blogggers at the NYT website because you show that you dont know about this shit with that one statement, shit, loads of people are jailed every year for tax evasion, here's a recent example that's been in the news a lot
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/04/25/2227250.htm
Quote:
Its estimated that illegal immigrants are subsidizing the social security and medicare programs with 7 billion a year.
it's estimated that they pull $104billion from social service services every year, just on the federal level, so how is using an additional $95billion more than they put in actually benefiting anyone but them
Quote:
"Our assumption is that about three-quarters of other-than-legal immigrants pay payroll taxes," said Stephen C. Goss, Social Security's chief actuary, using the agency's term for illegal immigration.

I was referring to the correlation between illegal immigrants and citizens being jailed for tax evasion, and nothing else. I haven't a clue why you linked me the article about Wesley Snipes.
Where do you get this $104 billion estimate. Am I suppose to just take your word?
Yes assumption, not of some dick online but Social Security's chief actuary which means it carries some weight as expert testimony.

Bullshit. Just an exuse
Yes, it's bullshit excuse for seeking a better life.
a better live in a country with more than double the unemployment? why dont they make their lives better there, do you even understand what they mean by better life? they come here, earn money, send it back and will use it for their retirement, I worked with one that bragged about the home he owns there, he doesnt rent it, pays a care taker and still has the utilities turned on, fuck these fuckers, they have the cash to get them across the border to come work here, if they dont make it, they pay again... many are wealthy by mexican standards
we should be seizing their bank mexican accounts and taking the money back under the RICO Act
Well said
I worked with many Mexicans in the factories here (they were all here legally on work permits) and none of them planned on staying here they were here to work for as long as they could live together under one roof, and send money back home
These people were doing it the right way and I have no real issues with them doing that since they are paying local and federal taxes
the illegal ones are not paying their share of taxes and when they are found should be deported to the middle of Mexico the day they are caught
no ifs ands or buts about it

LicHmicrO said: i just wish this could be done in a way that does not violate the fourth and fourteenth constitutional amendment rights of america's true citizens.
other than that im OK with it
As far as I can tell it wont. If you're a citizen then you should have no concerns.
they arent gonna start stopping people just to check for ID if you do get stopped and don't have the proper ID on you then you can be held until they verify your ID
if you are found to be here illegally .... regardless of your race you get a one way ticket straight back to your home land

and I see nothing wrong with that policy

Its a knee jerk baseless accusation. People cant distinguish between their opposition to a law and their opposition to enforcement. That and they are intellectually lazy, so they just shut down debate by using the 'R' word. Then they can appeal to emotion and anecdote rather than numbers and demographics.
I read an article today that compared it to what the right did with 'death panels' Nowhere in health care reform was there ever mentioned a death panel. Yet tons of foolish right wingers clung to this idea that there gonna pull the plug on grandma. It was a ridiculous baseless claim. Now the left is doing the same thing with this bill and racism. Foolish people getting swept up in emotion.

No it's just a felony. Here I was thinking that all people had to show ID when an officer asks it but according to so many it's just people with skin a little darker than my own. I guess all those times I had to show it were just on april 1st. Silly cops and their fun games.

Leave it to Berkley students to go on hunger strike.
They say they feel fine but lets check back in a week.
Think they will get what they want?
