This might piss someone off, but it's my honest opinion.
I honestly hope that Iran makes nuclear weapons so that the the world is more balanced in power.
USA has nukes, Israel has nukes, China has nukes, Russians have nukes, so damn, the Arabs better get some nukes too.
it would make for a more balanced world in my opinion.
I am all about fairness and balance, especially since most major countries have missile defense systems nowadays.

Aren't many governments in the Middle-East theocracies (I know Iran isn't)? I don't want nuclear arms to be in the hands of religious nuts...

Arabs already have nukes. Pakistan has been a nuclear power since 1998.

Iran is a theocratic democracy, meaning practice all of the major points of a theocracy, but try to appear democratic by holding elections that don't really matter.
Ahmadinejad is merely a figure head (and a terrible loud mouth as well).

Yeah, because the Cold War was such an awesome time. Nothing like the constant threat of nuclear annihilation to make you really enjoy the simple things in life.
We have learned what it's like to abuse the power and look at where it almost got us. Do you think a small, hard lined country that's looking to make a name for it's self is going to exercise the same caution and respect that it took us the past 60 years to gain?

I sure do, because if Iran nukes someone, they are done. UK, USA, Israel, and others, all would swarm Iran.
Iran having nukes will simply balance power so that other countries, like us, are less aggressive, and hopefully more hesitant about invading the Middle East or expanding our current aggressive invasion.
just my 2 cents

Dude, you know less about politics than you do about physics. Iranians are not Arab. They don't even speak Arabic, and if you ever call an Persian an Arab they will be very offended. Farsi and Arabic aren't even in the same language family.
The same with Pakistan, they aren't arabs, they are Punjabs and Pashtuns, they speak a language closer to English than it is to Arabic (Both being members of the Indo-European language family)
You would want a country in the mid throws of internal revolt to go nuclear? MAD only works if the ruling government stays in power. When the soviet union broke up, several of the nuclear devices went missing and many have not been found. What could happen if a tyrant like Ahmadinejad, felt he was about to loose power, would he use his last resort to pick a fight with someone he has always hated? Would he sell it to the highest bidder?
I can't believe someone who supports the Palestinians could also support the man who crushed one of the largest peaceful protest in recent history.
I'm sure you wanting more arabs to have nukes has nothing to do with the fact your half Lebanese.
LOL, name one country that has an effective missile defense program that can shoot down a nuclear armed ICBM.
P.S. I'm not pissed off, just blown away by your ignorance. Iran is more likely to use a nuke on arabs than it is to use them on America.

Be more shallow, I dare you...
Ahmadinejad has never once denied that the Holocaust happened. He simply questions why so many people focus on one aspect of history, and put so much emphasis, when over 60 million people lose their lives in a war why focus so much on 5 1/2 million of them?
Ahmadinejad simply [and rightly] asks questions that very few other leaders care to [or dare to] ask. As he says himself:
"Why is it that those who ask questions are persecuted? Why is everywhere there such sensitivity or such prohibition on further studies on the subject? If this happened, where did it happen? Did that Palestinian people have anything to do with it? Why should the Palestinian's pay for it now? 5 million displaced Palestinian people is what I'm talking about. Over 60 years of living under threat... You might argue that the Jews have the right to have a Government. We're not against that. But where? At a place where their people will excel, where people will vote for them, and where they can govern. Not at the cost of displacing a whole nation, and occupying their whole territory."
His stance on 9-11 only further supports my stance that he is one of the few leaders around the world today who is willing to stand up and ask legitimate questions. It's amazing how such false information can be perpetuated by the media...
here's my source, btw:
The Illuminati have practically perfected mind control. The joke is on the brainwashed idiots that are being led to the slaughter....Albert Pike was a fucking genius, brilliant social architect whom worshipped Lucifer....

Agreed... have you seen how he liives? Very modest... none of the high life like any other president, this guy stays in a tiny apartment and enjoys the simple things in life... Ofcourse 9/11 was an inside job...
Iran has every right to pursure cheap nuclear energy... I hope they do get a nuke... South Korea got them and look at them now... They have a bargaining chip..... All the sanctions in the world won't stop Iran and with Russian troops to the north of Iran...any invasion would escalate to a holocaust.. Just my opinion...
I envisage a holocaust if the present American government is not drastically changed... I.E.. via Ron Paul....
As for Isreal well... i'm totally beginning to believe they are responsible for much of the worlds problems.. and before anyone starts i ain't a nazi or anti-semetic...
just sayin
