after reading this thread, it seems the one thing that brings together paulites, truthers, islamic fundamentalists and some 'fed' people is their irrational hatred of jews.

Why is it so hard to believe that extremists hijacked a few planes and flew them into some buildings?

Be logical about it... What is so hard to believe that a coordinated group of people hijacked 4 airplanes and had a 3/4 success rate?
People only look at the collapses of WTC1 and WTC2 and try to form conspiracies out of them. They fail to account for the sheer kinetic energy of a Boeing 767 weighing some 200+ tons, slamming into a static object at over 500mph...
Come on... fuck the fires, that kind of force would be enough to bring King Kong to his knees.
Wouldn't it be enough to severely weaken a towering sky scraper enough so that the RAGING fires inside could provide the necessary push to bring the whole house of cards down?
Why is that so hard to believe?
