 Schizophrenic Friend lost his mind again

Guys I need help. My Friend who has been diagnosed as schizophrenic is loosing his mind again! At first he caused a whole bunch of drama thinking he was being controlled or some weird shit. He ended up in the mental hospital and they gave him medication. He was on the medicine for a while (which seemed to make him deppressed), so it didnt suprise me when he decided to not take them.
Now hes off his meds and I get a call from him saying he needs to "Go away" for a while. He is seriously convinced that this one fight we had in childhood is the root cause of this long and epic equation that explains his position int his life. He is convinced that the Jews secretly rule the world and that they will eventually conquer all!
He thinks he hypnotized some kid as a child (who was a Jew) and it caused him to kill himself. So the Jewish church has made it its mission to make his life hell along with taking over the world!
 I seriously wanna cry. There is absolutely no talking sense into him. I told him even if all this shit is true! Whats stopping him from eating a cheeseburger and enjoying his life to the fullest? He claims its simply not possible because of what they (the jews) have done.
I know a few of you guys suffer from schizophrenia and take extreme reality altering drugs. Any advice on what I could tell him to help calm him down? Hes apparently getting agitated with his mom and my mom. I cant go see him because I moved away and currently live 800 miles away from him! I told him to not do anything today (because he will need planning  ) and told him to drink some Chamomile tea (in hopes it will calm his mind a little)

I don't think a brain that messed up can be fixed. Benzos might help but his condition sounds really serious. If I were ever to suffer an extreme mental disorder like that I want to be euthanized. There's nothing scarier to me than losing my mind.

Tell him to start meditating so he can raise his chi and eventually defeat the jews?  If I were you I would try to show him the logic in living healthy, regardless of what he believes is out there. But on the other hand don't put any responsibility on yourself...he sounds pretty far out on a loop, at this point the only person who can bring him back is himself.

My cousin is schitzo and also talks about people plotting against him bugging his room and police helicopters trying to look into his window.
I just listen and ignore the craziness most of the time but sometimes I play along and make fun and make him feel stupid, but he believes it as being fact so wholeheartedly that he just looks at me like I'm the one who's crazy for not believing him.
Schizophrenia is a horrible disorder and you can't force anyone to take their meds, so I say just be there for him and try and get him committed or rather have someone else have him committed because he already half blames you for the Jews plot against him and you don't need a crazy person making you the person that needs to die to end all the madness.

OP you should read this book by Kurt Vonnegut's son who had schizophrenia. It's called Eden Express and it deals with him losing his mind and how he got better.
It's a really good read as well. He basically runs off into the woods with his hippie friends in the 60's and starts a commune, takes a bunch of drugs and drops out of society.
Soon his schizophrenia develops and he has a total breakdown and is institutionalized.
I highly recommend it.

I guess if anything, don't belittle his claims to his face, because that will probably make him even worse.
Try and think of ways to communicate something through his train of thought, which is the jew ruling out to get him type ideas.
I don't know now though, that doesn't make much sense

I just talked to him on the phone for an hour. There is NO talking sense into him. Even if I blow a huge hole in his logic, he just brings up some example from when we were kids, or I just dont understand.
Really sucks. Luckily his family talked him into a Red Lobster Dinner (aka mental hospital) so hopefully he will get his marbles back soon

ok, basically this kid is just getting off on himself. tell him LISTEN, we ALL experience this kind of stuff. u are not that different from everyone else. everyone is experiencing stimuli that, if they CHOOSE TO SEE A PATTERN like there is a plot out there to get him, they will see it. most people are just like, freal? can't be. i'm just gonna play some video games. or i'm just gonna smoke anyway. or i'm just gonna jerk off and lay around. tell him JUST ROLL WITH IT MAN, and dun get so worked up.
if smoking pot makes the kid feel guilty and paranoid, tell him to stop smoking pot. if drinking makes him feel guilty, tell him to stop drinking and just relax.
staying really busy and not spending so much time sitting around coming up with ideas like that is a good way to get over it. time exercising or something.
the important thing to tell the kid tho is YOU ARE NOT SEEING ANYTHING THAT EVERYONE ELSE ISN'T SEEING, YOU ARE JUST BEING A DRAMATIC TOOL.
and if i may be so bold, it's the same with "hallucinations" on drugs. it's just being a whimsical/dramatic little kid.

From what the OP has said, this kid has a legitimate mental disease.
Just because you or someone you know likes to act crazy for attention doesn't mean schizophrenia as a whole doesn't exist.

Or you could say you joined the jews as a spy and your close to infiltrating their base and shutting them down for good. Then call him the next day and say you've defeated the jews. And if he says no they are still here say well they cant do anything cause you destroyed their mainframe so they have no power to communicate with one another telepathically. Therefore they dont have enough power unlike a combined group would have??  How the crap do you talk to a schitzo?
