by speed freak i meant some1 that is into speed. you generalized by saying that every1 who smokes speed robs/fights/rages
its just simply not true
just like its NOT true that every1 benefits from psychedelics. yet the acid freaks on this forum seem to think so.
please rethink your paradigm for asserting that certain drugs speaking to you can be more valid than others. (ie LSD to speed)

There is a difference.

Thing is man, I didn't say everyone did, I said some benefit from psychedelic use if they don't see them as the answer to the world. You are the one who said speed freak which to anyone who doesn't do speed is a deragotory term. As someone who ocassionaly uses opiates I don't call myself a junkie.

have you even USED speed before?
because it gives me amazing insights and makes me feel like a god every time i do it too, but I don't hold it on a pedestal like you hold psychedelics on

No, but then again none of its effects sound desirable to me. I hate insomnia and I hate the speedy feeling. I don't even drink caffeine

Seriously. If you've never even tried a drug how can you even attempt to compare it to another drug much less try to compare users and abusers.
It's like people who don't smoke telling a smoker to 'just quit'. You have no idea on the issues that come up with this, and until you've been in the same position, you never will.

yeah truly stated. however, the occurrence of benefits vs. negative influences associated with these drugs respectively are VERY distinguishable and different. the effects on behavior tend to be negative with speed, while LSD does often precipitate positive realizations and subsequent according action in users.

Dude, OP, stop getting defensive of your drug of choice and taking what I say out of context. You said speed freak which to anyone who hasn't been in that scene is not a good thing to be called. Did you all just ignore it when i capitalized SOME?
deCypher, my boyfriend is a fucking ex junkie so I'm not saying everyone steals. In fact, I didn't even use that in my junkie example.
I give up. It takes like 3 minutes for what I'm typign to even show up because this computer is so fucked up. I'm just not responding anymore.

This OP is one of the sorriest posts I've had yet to read in the shroomery. "Oooh look at me I'm going to post an anti-stoner post in a forum filled with stoners to show how cool and different I am by taking mainstream society's view on marijuana."
Fact of the mater is, marijuana users are a cross section of society. They are comprised of both stupid people and smart people. Famous scientists have smoked it, and utter retards have smoked it. Marijuana by itself is no more harmful (and indeed, much less) than the legal drugs society has already deemed proper for us to consume. Because of this travesty alone, it is understandable that marijuana smokers have adopted a certain subculture of expression to show that they are actually a force in the world and responsible for many tasks being accomplished, and that they do actually vote and affect elections.
I'm sure you're not part of any stereotypical culture yourself, right?

and b-t-dub, I smoked marijuana every day for 5 years... I'm only not smoking it right now because of probation... and managed a 3.8 and am going to graduat school to get my PhD.
I know many, many others like me.
I have yet to see that its daily use has affected me or any of my friends in a negative manner.
