This stupid debate at love makes perfect sense. Isn't her private investigator the one who said she did it? I mean that guy who wrote a book about it and made millions to tell the world the truth  If she drove him to it that's a different story. Not that I miss him all too much, he was a hack musician and a terrible guitarist.

i bought his journals when they originally came out... he has a lot of good music lists in there. i remember one of his entries was a letter to a friend saying how tv is one of the worst and most addictive things there is

Because he was a junky with mental issues who gave it all up in the end. I don't think there is much use dwelling on why when no matter what the reasoning was, a guy is still dead and nothing changes that.
Courtney Love killing Kurt Cobain makes me  , though.

that is a common misconception. Simplicity doesn't always equal no talent. He was an amazing songwriter and vocalist. Most of his best work has never been played on the radio, however, and so most people only know him from smells like teen spirit/ come as you are/ and lithium (three of nirvanas worst songs imho)
here are some examples of his genius
The raw energy and emotion put into these songs is unpresidented
as to why he killed himself, I'd say he realized he had become exactly what he stood against. He originally wore plaid shirts and ripped jeans and had greasy hair because he hated conformity and he didn't believe in being a corporate image. Then he got a record deal and all these teens across america started dressing like him, acting like him, and basically trying to be him. He became what he hated most

He had prior suicide attempts, in my opinion there's no reason to think that anyone but Kurt was responsible for his death.
He even left a suicide note in his own handwriting.

I'd have to agree. Technically he wasn't the best and tends to be a little overrated (I'm looking at you, Rolling Stone. Top 10 guitarist? Hm.) But that being said I look back fondly on my Middle School years where I was angsty and rebellious and Nirvana was the fucking world to me. They were one of my first bands I really explored and got me interested in to a lot of great bands. Not Led Zeppelin...Or Jimi, but you can't deny the influence Nirvana has, or come close to some of the shit Cobain did..School, Rape Me, You Know You're Right, etc.
What sucks about Cobain and a lot of other musicians is that you can tell from home recordings and such they had so much more coming. Songs like Old Age and Do Re Mi show that Cobain was just getting started, but he ended himself prematurely. Sucks for the rest of us, I suppose.
