 dmt extract pissng me off

after a first time failure with dmt i decided to get 500 grams and try again.
150 grams bark was mixed with 625 ml water with about 150 grams lye. it was left to sit a while before adding about 100ml solvent. this mix was left to sit about 24 hours mixing it up twice. the top layer was removed and is fan evaporating as i type. it's evaporating but it only looks to be about not even 50mg spice. what the fuck is goin on around here?

What solvent are you using? Also I've heard that it is better to freeze/thaw/freeze/thaw the bark to get the maximum extraction. Try reading various how-to's, they will probably have some mention of this.

using the old vm+p. i know about the freeze. i plan on doing that with the rest of my bark. i just wanted some for right now, so i used lazyman tek for a couple doses.

Extraction of chemicals from a medium such as bark is similar to getting soap out of a sponge. Even if you let a soapy sponge sit in water for 24 hours, if you don't rip up, stir, squeeze, chop, and otherwise mutilate the sponge, as soon as you pull it up out of the water and squeeze the center will still be full of soap! (in this case, DMT)

I do have powder.And to the sponge thing i understand, but i vigurously stirred it for 30 minutes. then let it sit for hours and did the turn over end method a couple times before removing top layer. I just think i should be getting a lot more.

Sorry about that, maybe it's also not the most efficient method? maybe you got a bad batch? 
I'll probably be posting my dmt extract problems soon too as I am going to attempt it in the near future as well.

Maybe go for the real deal, make use of the plants you have instead of extracting, and possibly learn how to not get pissed off altogether
although I could be out of my jurisdiction here, maybe you do already but want some DMT in addition to that, in which case, I hope you find a solution

and i do use the plants. if your talking about aya. i love it.

I wouldn't start with a standard dose doing a drug of unknown purity.

If its orange goo then you have a lot of plant fats in there. Do the freeze precipitation and you'll have crystals/powder.

well just to get a little bit real quick i used the lazyman tek to the t. just recalculated weight for 150 grams.
I'm going to continue to use this tek for the rest of the material except I'm going to freeze precipitate and use a sodium bicarbonate wash.
it went well btw. it was orange but little noticed difference in intensity compared to white.

I have some of that Mimosa Hostilis bark. I've had it for 5 years and I've never done anything with it because extracting it always seemed so difficult. I need to make use of it. Someone convince me to do it.

I didn't bother reading the whole thread but here is what I would do in your situation.
Once you add the naptha layer to the lye+water+MHRB mix, give it a hot water bath of at least 1 hour. After I would let the whole mix sit longer than usual, I used to do 48hrs. I would get 400mg per pull, and I got usually two pulls per mix.

I'm using the lazy man's tek for the first time too
I only had 45g of root bark
I have a glass plate with some of that orange goo in front of a fan
should I freeze it? and then what?
any useful links for the freeze/precip will be apreciated

the second pull is in the freezer now. i usually let the solvent sit in the jugs for at least 12 hours. shaking vigurously every 3 or 4. no matter how much you shake it up, the layers will seperate given time.
i puled out altogether now about 2 grams. maybe a little less. so i have a good 5 grams left to get. also im using powder material.

I yielded about a gram, doing a similar extraction as you. Although my bark was finely grounded, and I only mixed for an hour or so.

it varies. if i leave it in their for at least 12 hours it start to turn a light yellow.

idk for sure but i have gotten good yields so far. i have one more pull. which would make 3. it has been sitting in the jug now for 3 days. leaving it at least another 1 and pulling it. I'm gonna evaporate it down, freeze it, then collect solvent and evaporate that completely.
