Cardinals playoff experience will be the difference. Kurt Warner loves the lime light and has proven it countless times. Breez on the other hand has had nowhere near the kind of track record as Warner and Warner's weapons seemed almost superhuman against an allegedly solid Packer defense. The Cards are red hot. The Saints haven't played a decent game in a long time.
The Colts and Ravens played a hell of a game a few weeks ago. Manning proved capable and came through when he needed to. But just looking at the Ravens yesterday, there's no way in the world I'd want to face that defense right now. They seem angry as hell. I can't pick against the determination to dominate they showed Bellicheck. And John Harbough taking a victory lap in NE was priceless.
Brett Favre is in the playoffs. He's one game away from getting back to the NFC championship and his shot at redemption. He's not going to let Tony Romo take that away.
The Jets force the Chargers to play their style of football and the Chargers' 30th ranked running game will never get off the ground.
There will be one more game at Giants stadium.

Cardinals, Ravens, Vikings and Chargers.
I'm going Cardinals because they have a hot offense with a quarterback with a ton of experience, plus the saints secondary has shown not to hold up well against the pass rush.
Ravens because they've got a good run coming out of the 33-14 beat down of the pats and they seem to have established a good run game.
Vikings because Brett Farve has so many weapons he can throw to on that team and their defense seems to have improved over the past 2 games.
Chargers because I mean c'mon they have won 11 straight in a row and right now they are hot on both sides of the ball.

If the Cards defense plays like they did against the Pack than the Saints would put up 65 to the 51 AZ had.
Ravens' defense is gonna take apart another top QB in Peyton.
Vikings have a better QB than Dallas, and after Dallas not winning a playoff game since 1996, they done enough to win one game so far.
Jets defense will expose Rivers for the MVP he will never be.

The Vikings are undefeated at home this year. It's going to be tough for the Cowboys to pull off a win inside the Metrodome. Plus, I'm hoping for a Vikings/Saints NFC championship game.

Vikings pass rush will get to romo and vikings have better run then philly did. Cowboys can't just worrie about the pass. vikings by 10
chargers at home and team that does well in playoffs.with big recivers i could bet the jets. chargers by 14.

no i said i could beat the jets with the big recivers like the charges have. everyone saying jets run game. bla bla bla. They have two run plays they run well.right trap and counter left that's it. inside LB keys off on Fanco (LG) shoot the B gap will stuff jets run game. with out that playaction jets are done.
jets big plays come off play action and chargers faced some good run teams this year. Cowboys for one who they beat and the fins with their "wild Cat". Jets play action will be non factor. Chargers LB core will stay at home and not bite. Which will lead to cover sacks on dirty sanchz. This will be a blow out game with river thrown 2 40 yard TD passes over the middle.

i have to pick the chargers, even as much as i hate them
reasoning being, they're playing at home. philip rivers and the team have alot more playoff experience than rookie mark sanchez and the jets. although this was also true about the bengals game, which i thought cincy would win.
but i will say this game is hard to pick. not entirely sold on either team.

i have a hard time picking the Cardinals over the Saints considering how awful the Cardinals D looked.
And only people without brains will say that the Cards offense will make up for their defensive weaknesses. That's only true against another horrible defense, which the Saints do not have.

it is better to hope to recover the ball and hold them to a FG than make your Defense bust its ass to tie with a FG just to possibly lose to a coin toss.

I agree. On-sides was the way to go. Assumnig that they would call the same sequence of plays and have the same result as a 4th and short is silly. Fallacy of the pre-ordained result. This is like people saying a caught stealing before a home run cost the team a run. It didn't. The pitcher would not have thrown the same pitch and the batter would not have had the same mindset. There is no way to know that the batter would have hit a home run. Unless Schroedinger's cat runs across the field. Then all bets are off.

A deep kick would, lets say just for fun, be returned to the 35. The chargers would have to only make them go 3 and out because of field position hence adding 30 seconds to the clock and receiving a punt that's not necessarily in their own end zone. I know the point's moot, I'll go away
