Well playing football certainly does not make you an expert on the subject, there are plenty of retarded sports anchors and commentators who are ex-NFL players, and they sure as hell don't get shit right 80% of the time.
Congratulations, you [allegedly] know people who have played pro football. You ain't no crystal ball there buddy. The best minds in football are with any certainty unable to make reliable predictions more than a week ahead of time, just like meteorologists (but usually much less educated.)
Anyway, you may be right, the Saints might lose, but you are making a guess and to call it anything else is just egotistical nonsense. The Saints have proven that they are a team that is more than capable of beating pretty much any other team in the league (including the Eagles, remember).
So they lost 2 games? Wow. Join the real world: even the best teams lose regular season games.
See you in playoffs, buddy.

ya saints lost i know big deal. But here is the saints problems. 1. brees needs to be able to throw down field. 2. saints need to get yards after the catch with the underneath stuff for the go or double move route to work.Because the DB will start to jump routes. 3.saints D needs to limit the big plays.4.ST need make tackles.
Against the panthers this week; saints will lose by 7 "if" pepper get's 3 or more sacks. I say brees gets sack 3 x and int once. 24-17 panthers. If not 24-21 saints.
Ok saints get it to NFC game. Eagles with their vet DB group and pass rush will take away any big play from brees. And the way eagles can almost make big plays every possession. i don't think the saints D will stop them enough. it's better to be good then lucky. The saints luck has ran out. They need to win by touchdowns not field goals.
colts? if they face a physical team they are done.with the colts just beating the 8-7 teams i see them losing ether to pats or losing AFC game to chargers.

Brees is more than capable of "throwing downfield", Brees is in the top 5 in 20+ yard completions. To even mention Brees as one of the Saints problems really makes you look kinda dumb. No wait, to blame the Saint's problems on Brees needing to be able to throw down field makes you sound fucking retarded.
Their biggest problem in these past 4 games or so is the pass defense, especially against big plays. If they can fix that again (like it was early in the season) the defense can hold up and the offence can do it's job.

That does seem to be the problem going forward. Fuck, TB marched down the field with Carnell Williams running on 9 of 10 plays. If you can't stop that you can't win. Period.

Not really. Exceptions to this are generally rare. Teams who are "rolling" late in the season tend to go pretty far in the post season.

we are saying the same thing on this one. Yes he can throw down field but teams have taken that away. And the saints D is really going to stop the eagles pass game? Not for 60 min. If saint play this well next year they will have better shot. But they look to weak this late with only one regular game left to make it through the playoffs. And not to play Brees? wtf? come on you need the saints to win big get the mojo back?

Charles Grant out for the post-season.
Saints just can't get a break with all these damn injuries. Oh well. Gotta roll with who we got.
