It doesn't really matter if I'm talking about about with Lebron or not. Lebron is relevant, not the Cavs. They'll get to the playoffs and get bumped again.
What's more relevant that the Cav's season is where Lebron will end up.

That is such a stupid thing to say
Cavs have the ability to pay him more than any other team. And Cleveland is just as close to a Championship as any other team. I think It's more likely Chris Bosh comes to Cleveland to join LeBron rather than King James leave.

It's not a stupid thing to say. Cavs are currently taking a huge luxury tax hit. Add Bosh at $15M next year, add another $5M (at least) you're going to have to add to Lebron's $17M option next year to keep him, and you're already $10M over the cap. This means an extra $10M in luxury taxes. And that's assuming no other free agent or draft signings. Also, it assumes the cap is the same level as this year, which goes against what many analysts say of a lower cap for once.
Will Gilbert want to pay luxury tax again to sign Bosh? We'll see.
That all assumes that Lebron won't take less money to play elsewhere (and coast on endorsements).
But then again, it's stupid that I say that because I clearly haven't put any thought into it, right?

Clearly not enough thought. Shaq is gone after next year, that will free up some cap room. And you are also assuming the Cavs dont dump any salaries either through trades
If there is one thing Gilbert has proven over the past couple seasons, it's that he wants to get LeBron a ring and keep him in Cleveland. I honestly think they are only a Chris Bosh away from being the most dominant team in the NBA
We'll all have to wait and see what happens, but I dont think hes going to be interested in additional endorsements. How many more endorsements can the guy get? He's already on every magazine, TV commercial, and everywhere else you can imagine. Maybe im just being naive.

I didn't include Shaq's salary into next year or Z's.

Who are they going to dump? Mo? Varejao? Delonte? Gibson? Anyone else is pocket change. You can dump all the salary you want, but you have to have enough players to fill a roster at the end of the day and you can't just surround two stars with schmucks. Even stars need solid role players and even those don't come cheap.

We'll see.........
Dan Gilbert knows if he lets LeBron get away then Cleveland and the Cavs are back to square 1. Especially to lose him in free agency and get nothing for him. I think if Gilbert had any doubts about being able to get LeBron back they would start looking to trade him.

I do think that the Cavs are in the forefront to get him, but I wouldn't say it is certain they will get him.

I think its very VERY likely Lebron gets the fuck out of Cleveland. He's ALREADY getting paid rediculously.
The point is he wants a change to win. And I dont know if you're just being a really biased hopefully cleveland fan, but dude is not staying in Cleveland if given the chance to go elsewhere.

I've said it before but: I won't be surprised if he stays or if he leaves. It's really all speculation right now. I think people underestimate how much he likes Cleveland and how good Cleveland is. There are three or four teams in the East with a chance of doing anything right now including Cleveland. The others aren't going to get LeBron. So how does leaving give him a better shot? It really doesn't.

Braylon Edwards sure did a good job pretending to enjoy Cleveland as well.

He didn't pretend to like Cleveland much more than any other athlete pretends to enjoy where they are currently. He also isn't from the general area. People in Cleveland didn't like him either.
In fact LeBron and Edwards pretty much have nothing in common in this situation.

There's only one thing keeping Lebron in Cleveland...
And it ain't the money.
