nope not fixed, in fact it is worse with the new tires

also around here highway tires suck, i have a hard time  make it up the mountain i live on when it is raining..

edit: another thing i want to mention is that this is a big problem with 2001-2008 dodge truck and a ton of them have been lemon lawed(didn't know until i searched the web for the problems)

i talked to a bunch of owners and they either lemon lawed or took a settlement of 5-7k for living with a truck with a un-fixable problem.

dodge tried to fix it when the problem started and after replacing everything it could have been on loads of trucks with no results they are now saying that it is deemed normal.

there is even a tsb out there that that instructs technicians to inform the customer that the vibes are normal .

take it back, tell them to give you a loaner and they need to get it
fixed ASAP, tires obviously arent the problem

my guess bases on the little info is it may be bearings or it could be
the pitman/idler arm, depends on how bad it is and if it gets a lot
worse over bumps

so i was suppose to get a call back sat and never got one....

i called sun knowing that they were closed and left a very firm message that they were in breach of contract with my truck because it was not fixed and that they illegally stole my tires and replaced them with sub-par tires that i don't want on MY truck

so today i get a call from the sales man that threatened me, he was very quiet and calm and kept calling me buddy or friend

he said that they are going to take care of the issues and that he is on working on getting me a set of new tires as we speak.

he sounded scared!!

so i bet the last encounter with him was him trying to scare me into dealing with it...

but i also contacted my lawyer and gave him the updated info

if i was you, i'd be happy you are getting all this taken care of but it took this long and they tried to 'scam' ya, and then tried to fucking intimidate you into submission, i would definitely spread around a bad word about them

what a dick...car salesmen and some repairmen are not real people, just totally self-concerned

Good work!

If this is a common issue with that model, would it be possible that their would be a class action suit?

check the recall notices, print them out and make sure they deal with
every last one, I'm positive it's the idler and pitman arms now

http://www.automotive.com/2006/12/dodge/ram-1500/recalls/index.html
http://www.automobilemag.com/am/2006/dodge/ram_2500/recalls.html -suspension recall on 2500
http://www.autobuyguide.com/2006/12-aut/dodge/ram-3500/recalls/index.html -specifically mentions pitman arm on 3500

I know that many car manufacturers have had 'defected lines' at some point in history, but I don't know why you were buying American to begin with. :frown:

probably because every car maker has had defective product lines and
recalls on them... not to mention a toyota wont give you a 6 ton towing
capacity, the other japanese makers dont rate more than 3 tons

Yeah I plan on taking out a $200,000 loan and I'm gonna blow it all on coke, meth, oxymorphone, MDMA and LSD before 2012 and the world ends.

Then I will die happy or really really burnt out.
