you heard wrong. Syd's talent operates on a whole higher level. Piper at the Gates of Dawn is in a whole different league from other Pink Floyd (though live @ pompeii and Meddle are great), also he has some solo stuff that is great as well. It's not for everybody, I guess, but to me it's easily some of the best stuff out there

Really, no Sublime or Nirvana yet?
I was lucky enough to see Pantera at Ozzfest 2 years before Dimebag was shot. That was the only pit where I got my ass kicked by butch dykes with bull-ring style septum piercings.

Sublime is all right. Not a Nirvana fan. Would have loved to see AIC though.

Tool's lateralus tour woulda been sweet to see. Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Yes, The Marz Volta, Shpongle, and I think beats antique would be sweet to see live.
