 1st grow, PF Tek, started good, seems to have stalled :-(...

So i followed the direction for PF Tek on this site almost to a T, as well as i could,.. and within a few days i saw exactly what i should see, but now it's been 17 days total and i think my grow has stalled. Is this normal? I was expecting to to have some birthday cakes in 23 days or so like the article says but i don't think there gonna be done by then. The two strains im growing right now are treasure check and pink elephant.
Here is what ive got...
Any help would be appreciated

CONTAM'SSS Id b carefull there bro. That dont look so good. THe only color that I know of that is ok to have in there is a light tint of yellow, which is mycilum piss. But them dont look good bro in my opinion

contaminated,.. hmm,.. contaminated with what? how does that happen? what do you mean don't open them in the house? I haven't opened them since i injected them. Any idea what i did wrong? Should i toss them and start over? ugh!
schrooms are so hard to find around here i really want to grow my own :-(..

YUP CONTAMS THAT SUCKS, I UNDERSTAND MY FIRST BATCH GOT COLONIZED BY ANTS, I SWEAR. THE BEST YOU CAN DO IS START AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU USE A GLOVE BOX AND HAVE EVERYTHING STERILE, ALSO TRY AN EASIER SRTAIN B+, ECUADOR, OR MEXICANA ARE EASY.

I don't understand why they get contaminated and by what???
Nor what i did wrong,.. i don't have a glove box but i boiled the jars for an hour before using them and not only that i mean im putting vermiculite and organic brown rice flour in them, how the hell are they to NOT get contaminated, vermiculite is like dirt!? lol

K YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO PRESSURE COOK THEM FOR AN HOUR TO HOUR AND A HALF FOR STERILIZATION, BOILING IS A SHORTCUT, DONT USE IT YOU ARE WASTING YOUR SPORES, THE TAPE U USE SHOULD BE FLUSH AND NOT STICKING OUT, YOU STERILIZE WITH THE SUBSTRATE INSIDE THE JARS ALREADY. AND THE GLOVE BOX IS EASY TO MAKE AND WILL SAVE YOU PROBLEMS

Boiling the jars for an hour is fine, but 90 mins is better. Vermiculite is like dirt, but cow shit is like... Shit. Whats in it doesn't matter, you steam sterilize it for a reason, which kills nearly everything in there that would compete with your mycelium. That looks like a bacterial contamination, not a mold contamination. A mold contamination would have been from like a mold spore landing on your syringe when you inoculated. Bacteria can develop for a number of reasons.
Is that dust on the top? Were they kept in a dirty place? If so keep them somewhere cleaner next time. What temp were they kept in? Keep them around room temp, high temps breed bacteria. As for the tape on the top, it looks like it's been peeled back and mussed up. I personally use micropore tape. If you use a breathable tape to cover the holes, it allows gas exchange which is good for the mycelium so colonization time can be reduced, and it helps keep contams out for the most part.
I really don't know how you got contaminated, but a glovebox couldn't hurt next time, you can easily just get a five dollar clear tub, flip it on it's side, cover where the lid should be with clingwrap (not press and seal because you can't see shit through press and seal) and cut two holes for your hands. Wipe surfaces and hands down with alcohol, spray the air with lysol/oust, and flame sterilize your needle between jars, and you should be good.

If that tape was on the whole time i bet thats where you went wrong. That tape doesnt look like the right kind. Your jars were not getting any GE probably stalled.

There's mold in one of the jars, and they both are heavily contaminated. Toss em out and start over. Get yourself a pressure cooker and PC your jars next time.

Ok i feel like an idiot now,.. are you telling me i fill the jars with the flower/water/vermiculite mix BEFORE sterilization? If so, that might seem like common sense to everyone but me but still i don't remember reading that in the pf tek write up on this site :-(

those jars are heavily contaminated with moulds and bacteria.
My guess is incomplete sterilisation. steam sterilisation should be done for 90 minutes AFTER steam starts escaping the lid, which is usually 15-30 minutes after the water starts to boil. It takes time for the jars to get up to temp.
I usualy do 2 hours from the point the water starts to boil and it works every time.
