I used to like family guy in the first few seasons, but now it is just the same shit every episode and it's completely unoriginal and un-funny.

I respect them for making the 420 episode though. it's def funny to see a mainstream primetime cartoon singing about how everything is better with a bag of weed.

the times are changing but Obama is playing the bullshit political games and isn't going with the times. I really hate that fucker!!!! with a different president there is a good chance we would be seeing some sort of change.

at the very least, change it out of a schedule fucking 1 drug, WHAT THE FUCK! :volcano:

Fox News is cable programing so they have more freedom to spread bias views, even though their slogan is fair and balanced. Fox broadcasting is network so they are very limited and must appeal to the masses.

I wouldn't put too much trust in cable news or network news. Do some digging for the real issues and facts not opinion based journalism.

the news is pretty ridiculous most of the time . they are making a living just like anyone else and they use sensationalism on all their stories- but they can be a great help to the legalization movement- literally every few weeks I find something new online with people talking on mainstream channels about legalizing :happyweed:

If this momentum continues- I have no doubt we will see some change once that douche bag :obama:

I did vote for him, and he's definitely disappointed me in some areas(such as drug policy), but what his policies have lacked is certainly not intelligence -- it's courage. I wish his Hope machine came with a little more audacity.

i think Obama is very smart but you have to realize he cant do whatever he wants. maybe he still wants to legalize pot but he cant just pull a bill out of his ass. so hes forced to resign from that promise because he cant do whatever the fuck he wants. stop hating on Obama because none of you could do better.

Most people (well probably not you guys tho :rasta:

) would laugh at me if I called out the guy on the right for being discriminatory and prejudice with a touch of paranoia. Its almost socially acceptable to rip on people who use MJ (people all laying around on their couches, eating and watching cartoons-i believe he said). Do we joke about people taking insulin being like junkies, needing their 'fix' to stay well? Do we publicly joke about fat people shoving fried lard down their pie holes till their hearts give out at 40?

And then the paranoia thing is this irrational fear or this 'the sky is falling' type paranoia people have about legalizing drugs. They think the moment its legalized, little 4 year old sally is gonna start shooting up heroin. When the reality is, drugs are already everywhere, very widely available, people always have and always will use it (so we've learned from the failed war on drugs), its just a matter of do we want the taliban and mexican cartels to get the profits? Or do we want to accept it as a social mental health concern where we mitigate the harmful effects and take the profits out of our enemies hands and put it in our own.

he could still open up the discussion and take it off a schedule 1 drug. It clearly is used for medicines and they said the raids would stop- but technically according to the government -marijuana isn't even a medicine :shrug:

doesn't really make sense. + I think 64% of america agrees with decriminalization and 41% legalization. so I think he could do something minor if he wanted to. also don't forget it was the top question on Obamas website everytime they had a Q&A thing. and the economy is going to shit!!!! now is really the best time in the history of America to start rethinking our marijuana policy

I think society would become much more open minded and interesting with legal marijuana.

you're right that obama is our best chance but in a few years -50% of america is gonna agree with legalization and I think the discussion and media will start getting more intense and if nothing happens in a few years from now- it could even become a ho topic at elections.

I could be wrong and maybe the media will start turning against us again- but I think not.......... right now the legalizing movement seems to be very strong

yes it also exposed alot of things like how marijuana is only illegal because big corporations want it that way and some other things i believe. it did show how they thought everyone would act if pot was legal(every single person in quohog was high 24/7) and it was chaos... i wish they didnt do that but family guy just loves feeding stereotypes
