Im reading up on it now. I remember watching the old Aeon Flux cartoon while on acid and thinking "man I bet I could do shit like that if I really applied myself and Im sure there are people doing that"
I even did the wall running thing a few times, but the stuff where she runs on the wall, and then does the aerial flip, over the fence and catches herself; I want to do stuff like that.
What kind of exercises would be good to get in shape for it? Pullups? running? yoga? What kinda shoes do you wear? boots or those little finger toe things?

Running and any other exercise is good practice. Two of the biggest obstacles will be stamina and perseverance. Being afraid will probably be the next most difficult thing to pass.
Start small, with running a lot and jumping vertically/horizontally. Jump up small walls, land on top, jump off and roll as you touch down. Roll a lot. Do everything 1000 times (no joke, literally 1000), starting with the easy and working you way up.
Difficulty building: Running (stamina, changing directions quickly, etc) Jumping (height, and overcoming fear of jumping off things 10' or higher, careful not to bend the knees more than 90* when you land. Just roll forward if you have to) Start things like cat leaps (jump onto a tall wall and catch on with your hands and no footing) Move further to jumping into a roll and doing front handsprings. Then do front/back handsprings and front/back flips. Then do wall flips. Then do wall flips to rolls. Then do wall flips to rolls off of heights (10' high is a good starting point)
Then become boundless. The world is your new playground.
PS I run 4 miles a day, and parkour still kicks my ass as far as stamina is concerned. So don't get your hopes up if it's hard at first, or if you tire out after only 15-25 minutes. Just move on to something easier like rolls, they don't require much energy. Lastly, you should rest for a day or so after you first start. Trust me, it hurts.
