I said said: The fact that most people "don't like" psychedelics should give us more incentive to spread knowledge/awareness about them, not to just give up, accept defeat, and say "oh well, spreading awareness about psychedelics isn't worth it because most people don't care about or like them anyways"
IMO, the main reason people don't like psychedelics is probably because they have been conditioned to not even consider them as legitimate, and to only think they don't do anything other than cause insanity and silly-hallucinations.

I know that, but I'm saying I bet that the majority of the population don't like to have their egos shattered. That's why I think people rather like to drink alcohol or something like that because it boosts their ego. And we all know how most americans love to have their egos stroked.

well we might be right about a lot of that. but it's those of us who are somewhat willing to let nature be nature - even within our own lives- that got something out of those experiences.

It's funny how people get their panties in a bunch. To think there is some kind of merit in what a famous person thinks shows how little you believe in people forming their own opinion. Or how much you hate when someone who isn't like you presents a similar opinion.

one important thing to consider in all of this, is the concept of how Buddha would address different crowds differently, because that's the only way they would listen... who cares if somebody borrows some ideas and dumbs it down, its not like he's addressing potential shamans, but maybe getting people out there who just get drunk or what-have-you every night to consider there are more options then they've been made aware.
There have been plenty of people who tried to not dumb it down and hardly anybody fuckin listened, only the really smart people who were bound to find this stuff on their own anyways.
a little good is better than no good, maybe
its probably better that the average person says "hey, even this normal guy thinks this stuff is a positive thing", instead of "man, i dont know...those guys are pretty out there/off their rockers." I dont know, really. Just a thought

Just cause you view joe rogan as a jock doesn't mean he's their voice. And it's funny you make him a hero of everything you're not. Dude his ideas are recycled, his humor is just that...comedy. Don't be threatened by someone who has made it in show biz and is saying everything you wish you could be saying on a podium, if you had the chance.

no.
why would I mass broadcast advocating a substance most dumbed-down fucks are not ready for? first I'd tell people to turn off their american idol and UFC, and go get some fresh air.

It's good to know we have someone with us who's an authority on who is and who isn't ready for certain drugs, and how they should be living their lives.
