well, i will watch rogan's show tomorrow, to see what he has to say. i'll put away my past beef, and hear what he has to say
i know it won't be as epic as the late carlin or hicks, but it will be relevant to this generation, no doubt.

the population right now seems disillusioned. everything is so capitalistic.
there ought to be a holistic revival. people really don't see the impact that capitalism has on the whole planet, much less the symbiotic nature of it. extinction of species would eventually lead to our demise as well

I think he's a cool dude, probably more down to earth and real than a ton of modern celebrities.
Sure, he's no Terrence McKenna or Bill Hicks.. but dude doesn't claim to be either. He's Joe Rogan.
Plenty of people take everything famous people say seriously. And he's not up there spitting stupid bullshit like 98% of them.
At least he's trying. And comedy from real issues = good shit. So more power to him.

The fact that most people "don't like" psychedelics should give us more incentive to spread knowledge/awareness about them, not to just give up, accept defeat, and say "oh well, spreading awareness about psychedelics isn't worth it because most people don't care about or like them anyways"
IMO, the main reason people don't like psychedelics is probably because they have been conditioned to not even consider them as legitimate, and to only think they don't do anything other than cause insanity and silly-hallucinations.

caffeine for productiveness, and alcohol to deal with stress.
lots of people use coke and amphetamines, and now the FDA advises young students to not halt taking ADHD meds.
it's obvious...something is seriously wrong with the current social status quo

Exactly.
Psychedelics used to be/are a part of coming of age ceremonies and religious rituals in many cultures.
Ours is just completely whitewashed and the WAR ON DRUGS deems all (illegal) drugs as EVIL,
people are force-fed propaganda from a young age and have a severely skewed perspective and bias on many drugs.
Of course the legal (pharmaceutical) drugs are gooood, yes buy them.
