this sounds like the sort of thing *I* would do...which pretty much tells me that it's the wrong thing to-do
ALL girls think that every guy on the planet just wants to get in their pants (which is probably pretty much true, for the most part anyway) and so whenever somebody does anything nice for em - they just presume that they're just simply trying to get a piece of the action...which, in turn, will turn em away...even if they liked that person to begin with (cause that would just make em a whore, dontcha know)
sending her a text saying the same thing *might* be about yer only option at this point...cause the flowers would most definately 'cross the line'

I am a female and I wouldn't consider something like this freaky.
Of coutse, this doesn't mean anything because other females might think different.
I honestly don't see what's the problem though. Even if she gets freaked out, why should he worry about it? Maybe it only means that her personality and way of being is irreconcilable with his, and that they're better off not being in any kind of relations anyways. I never feared to be myself and show what some might call my "eccentricities" to others, because I don't care or suffer if I'm not liked, but I do with to have a few but real friendships in which I know I can do whatever and not misunderstood.

Op you better not be a troll, I'll be angry if you are.
There is seriously only one outcome here. She will be happy. As #2 said, don't call her. Let her call you if you want. Careful what kind of flowers, too don't buy a friend a dozen red roses  If you must get roses, go with yellow and white. -- And know what yellow and white mean, so if she asks you can tell her. I'd suggest knowing about any flower in the bouquet that you get her it's impressive when a guy knows these things... and if she doesn't know, she will probably look it up, so do it first.
