I'd like to preface this by saying that, up until January, I have never had an opiate experience worth talking about.
I'd been given everything from Tylenol-3 (Codeine) to IV Morphine with no noticeable affect on my pain or mood.
In January, my chronic appendicitis decided to go acute. I spent about 20-25 hours in writhing agony before I went to the ER. There, they did urine tests and whatnot and decided to do a C/T scan to check out my abdomen because everything else was fine.
After I drank that disgusting fucking mix of dye and some sort of juice, the doctor came in to ask me about my pain tolerance and if I have any ideas on what med to give me. I told him that my tolerance to opiates has always been ridiculously high so I didn't have a clue.
He came back with what looked like a big fucking needle brimming with dilaudid. I asked him what he was going to do and he said that needle pretty much had the maximum dose for my body weight, and that he was going to inject it very slowly until the pain went away.
Oh lord, did it go away.
The injection took about 10 minutes, the whole time he was checking my heart rate and asking me if I felt different. I don't know how far in to the dose I was (maybe it took the whole shot, I don't know) but I went from writhing agony to blissful opiate high like that *snaps fingers*.
It was beautiful.
After surgery they gave me Percocet 10/375's. I'd had them before but this time, they worked on me! 50 pills, two taken every four hours for 4 days, and then the rest whenever I fucking felt like it.
This is dangerous. I love opiates now. Definitely my favorite drug because it's hard to have a bad experience unless you fuck up your dosage (took 3 of them once...puked...no fun).
I haven't had any since my last perkys in February. I want to enjoy opiates but the addiction scares the ever-living fuck out of me.
I only get drunk once every 2-3 months or so, roll about twice a year, and shroom once a year if that.
Should I add opiates to this list? I can get some pretty pure heroin for cheap...and know it can be done if you watch your ass.
Just looking for some advice.

Opiates are sooo fun, they are my favorite type of drug! Yes, you do have to watch yourself if you choose to dive into a world of opiates, it's easy to get sucked into that dream state.
I wouldn't suggest heroin, but I recommend growing some pods. Pod tea is awesome...

Can you elaborate? I'm new to opiates lol
I mean, I got sick from 30 mg of Oxycodone (3 percocet tablets), and yet one of my friends eats an Oxy 80 like a piece of candy.
I also meant to ask if maybe opiates were to me what pot is to a lot of people...they didn't work the first time but once I finally got them to work, my tolerance became almost nothing.

Heroins more potent, get that shit, inject it into your veins, start a rock band, grow long hair, call yourself kurt cobain, then inject a lethal amount into your system, then shoot yourself in the face.

As much as I hate HPI, I kind of agree with him, opiates are boring.
I just don't think they're that great. They fit well with a boring, rainy day laying in bed, but besides that I think they lead to a dull lifestyle.
Hanging around a bunch of opiated mofos while your sober is enough of a reason to stay away from that trap, IMO.

start with some weak opiates if you want to, not fucking heroin
and dont use it that often for that matter
and if you have trouble managing that then id definetly recomend you stay the fuck away from heroin

And I came here because addiction is a touchy subject with me because my alcoholic mom ripped my family in two. So I'm sorry if I don't feel like posting this behind a username.

You're joking, right? No other drug I've tried has been anywhere NEAR as addictive as nicotine...I was hooked within days. Whereas with opiates, I went on a 2-week long binge and came out fine.

I've never been addicted to cigarettes, and I first started smoking them when I was 14. You coming out of a 2-week long opiate binge just fine isn't common, you probably had bunk shit.

Just in case you can't use the scroll wheel on your mouse, I was on percocet for pain (which subsided after 4 days) and I have practically no tolerance for drugs so 30mg was enough to make me physically ill yet sooooo high.

its so funny. defending their addiction and drug. my god. i dont care how much fun the high is when you start dealing with opiates its game over sooner or later. in the end you will have a uncontrollable addiction. and a meaningless life as a delusional junkie.

Personal experience forces me to agree. Opiates ruin lives, plain and simple.

Not true, one of my friends only smoked heroin, and never shot it. I haven't seen him in a while, though, but I doubt he shoots that shit up...

One of my friends only smoked heroin and only did so once a week.
He OD'd.
The notion that smoking is safer than shooting is utter bullshit. You might as well shoot that shit.

He only smoked it once a week? My friend was a straight fiend, and even smoked that shit during work! 
To my knowledge, he hasn't OD'd, but he wasn't stupid and he knew his limits.
