It's not a good thing. I know from the sound of my subject line, I sound incredibly stuck up, but I really don't mean it to be like that. I am, by nature, very sweet because I honestly find that in life, you catch more bees with honey, so to speak. I wonder if that has something to do with it? I don't know what it is really...
Last week, I ran into an old friend who I hadn't seen in 10 years. We had about 20mins to catch up, chit-chat with each other, I did most of the talking.... he's an introvert, and went our seperate ways. Two weeks later, I get a msg from him on Facebook confessing that running into me has stirred up all these romantic feelings and he can't stop thinking about me, he thinks he's falling in love with me and so on, etc,.... I don't even know how to reply, I don't want to straight up say "NO CHANCE BUDDY, I WAS JUST BEING FRIENDLY" So I am just saying that I'm too busy with work and school right now, see you around sometime, much love!
Then this other friend who is really one of my favorite people ever is constantly confessing his undying love for me every couple of months. AND HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! WTF! Sometimes he gets drunk and calls me in the middle of the night just to tell me how much he loves me, and how important I am to him, and by the way you are so beautiful and amazing, blah, blah, blah. The whole time I am thinking; dude, if I were your girlfriend, you would be SO SINGLE RIGHT NOW.
It's gotten to the point where I feel like I should just let him go as friend even, because apparently he is unable to handle the 'just friends' thing. It makes me uncomfortable.
I also work with the public. One of my clients got my phone number from another colleague for some kind of work-related crap...which was a lie. Now he sends me texts and calls me all the bloody time. Over Easter weekend, he called my cell 15 times and I didn't even pick it up once because I know it's him and I don't want to talk to him. He's fucking married and he told me he wants to leave his wife for me and he will buy me a house, computers, cars...whatever I want, I will have it if I go with him. His wife has already threatened me and I have never once spoken to him outside of work, or gone out with him ever. Not once. I think she checks his phone or something. She's a craaaaazy woman. 
This last case in particular is harrasment, I'm considering changing my number.
I'm not all fucking sweet and docile all the time, I can be difficult and cranky sometimes. I'm not some kind of sex-vixen, that's for sure. I don't get it. Am I putting out some kind of please love me vibe?
I don't know what the fuck.
This is my rant.

I know who you are, so i'll just make this quick. You're an attractive girl. Guys and girls cannot be friends if one is attracted to the other. So i would suggest stop being so friendly to your friends and start acting like 'one of the guys'. Seriously. Fart around them. Act like a dude. Gross them out. Tell them about your yeast infections and pimples on your vagina.
You can also confront them and tell them straight up how it is so they get the idea and fuck off. It must suck being a decent hearted female.

I honestly do not conciously lead on ANYONE. Really, honestly and truly. For most of my adult life I have been involved monogomous relationships and when I am in love with someone, I really have absolutely no interest in anyone but my love. I rarely even develop crushes, and when I do, they last a long time and usually turn into relationships.
I swear I am not the kind of person to toy with others emotions.

My last girlfriend had these same problems. She was very friendly with guys and they would always think they had a chance with her. She was also one of the few unique, quirky, nerdy, and cute girls around so she was like a diamond in the rough for geeky guys.
Also, like you, she was never upfront with these guys that she totally wasn't interested in them and for them to fuck off. So yeah, the attention kept flying her way.
You need to tell these guys straight up or they will be whacking off thinking about you each night and daydreaming about you with a massive boner all day.

Im a guy, but I have problems with my female friends falling in love with me. Its only the ones Im completely disinterested in too and they have a hard time takeing no for an answer.
One of them still calls me daily even though we havent hung out in 5 months and it seems like she just cant get the message. I always just tell her Im busy because to be honest she creeps me out.
The other one is constantly sending me myspace messages and waits around the bars i like to confess her love for me the moment i walk in the door.
I dont even want to have sex with either of these girls, i just want them to leave me alone and find someone whose actually interested in them.

I have a friend who is EXACTLY like you.
She's physically attractive (let's say, very attractive), and has an extremely positive attitude. I blame that for all the guys focused on her.
Like for example, some random guy might talk to her and start a conversation, she will always answer very positively. She does that with everyone. When she tells me about that, she says that the boy wasn't particularly interesting or that she doesn't have any feelings for him, but from anyone else's point of view, she was giving many hints and was very interested by what the boy was saying.
She will sometimes look at you with big shiny eyes for no reason; but if you observe her a little, that's the way she looks at everyone. The way she reacts seems special, but she always react the same way! When I first met her, I had ideas in my head, like "wow that hottie is hitting on me", but I quickly realized that while another girl would probably had a crush on me if she acted that way, the same "standards" didn't apply to my friend.
We got pretty close since and she told me about her having problems with guys, and I explained to her why, IMO, she was having them. Boys were all attracted since they thought she was somehow open to a relationship but she didn't dare to go any further for whatever reason they thought of. With that idea in mind, they soon start to daydream; everything comes from there.
This girls seems to have troubles accepting who she is; for example, she doesn't like to be photografied. Having boys around her might help with self-confidence. However, I can't tell if she acts that way to get attention, without noticing it.

I know what u mean #1 - loads of my guys friends while not in love with me, ask me for sex - most of them have gfs too! It's really annoying and I dont get it - I'm not pretty or attractive really, I think Ive got a decent personality but why do ppl wanting random sex give a shit about that? Im never hotter than any of their gfs - so why do they want to sex me? Do they behave like it to everyone...Im not sure :s but it makes me nervous and worried.
