 Paranoid About New Apartment Complex And Area

i just moved in five days ago. 440/month in south salem, oregon.
So, i started off by parking in someone elses spot amd they blocked me in for about ten minutes. No big deal.
I noticed today that someone had thrown some kind of liquid on the front of my car. Looks like pop or something.
i've also noticed that a car in the parking lot has four flat tires.
made me think "what if someone slashed all of my tires! How would i get to work?". What would a person do if that happend?
I've also noticed that there is glass in the parking lot...car being broken into.
I only got a six month lease. Im starting to worry though.
does anyone know anything about far south salem oregon, near i-5. Is there anywhere online i could find oit about it?
any advice?

Just look around you ,if there is garbage on the sidewalk and street ,graffiti everywhere,and a bunch of yardwork that needs to be done ...your in shitsville.
Do the houses need painted ,does the area just have a general gritty look to it....?

Get a firearm license and get an AR15. Someone tried to rob you or jack you're car etc you shoot em.
