I was on a racist forum last night. A forum of people united by hatred.
Guess what: the community standards were a lot higher on racist shittalking. Gutter trash talking like in these threads wasnt allowed, members corrected it and offending members were banned for it.
Their philosophy behind it was that whites are the master race and so should act gentlemanly.
A forum for skinheads and nazis and klan types and it was a lot more civilized than the Shroomery.

So why do you think people are racist? Fear perhaps? Fear of one day becoming the inferior that they so detest? Perhaps they are already inferior in their minds.
Oh, and don't worry. These people won't be racist forever. They'll change. Unless they want to continue to be inferior.

it's all about reason. some people are violent and dangerous, but their causes are, if not right, at least reasonable.

for fuck's sake, i have kin who have been shot and who have shot people. i've even reason to suspect involvement in a trio of killings several years ago, they all happened about a month after he got his place broken into and him and his preggo wife held at gun point until he told them where the cash or drugs or whatever they were looking for were.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that's cool, but at least it all makes sense. It's reasonable. You can understand why it all happened, and these sorts of risks were understood by all involved before they got into that sort of shit.
Then last fall some freshman at the local college was shot a week before classes started and robbed. Not shot during the commission of a robbery, just shot out of the blue to INITIATE the robbery. What the fuck. You just take the guy's money. He's 18, preppy college kid, out drunk, you've got a gun -- at that point a robbery is just a business transaction. "Gimme yo cash" 'sure thing! only have 25, but hope you enjoy it, thanks for not shooting me!'
That's really all it is. A fear of unreasonable irrational people. If they were animals they would be put down. We don't tolerate dogs who will attack people without cause, yet we foster a culture in this country that glamorizes that very thing, and are called racist when we point it out.
