I was pretty upset over this. Not because he opposes legalization. I was already aware of his position on this. It's just the dismissiveness with which he laughs it off that bothers me. Apparently many in the audience shared his attitude. It seems that legalization is still not taken seriously as an issue by those in Washington.
I still believe he was the best choice in the last election, and I stand by my decision to vote for him. I believe there are more important issues than just legalization. But Obama just went down a few notches in my book.

These fuckers just love to brush us aside, like we are some kind of crazy side issue no one supports. I mean who are we to ask that the government should represent WE THE PEOPLE. On 420 some kind of protest should be organized. That way our rulers can see that we aren't some fringe group, we are the mainstream.

Yes, I agree, there should be more protests.
With this video you can kinda see what we must do to take action.
He considers people from the "internet" - as if they didn't have an opinion, and because of this, just means we have to get off our asses, and be more active. The internet is a great tool to organize stuff like this. We have gotten this far, bringing it up the topic on television, it's becoming a heated debate, that is looking good for cannabis smokers, and we should continue what we are doing, plus step it up a notch, maybe post signs in the city.
