shiitakes grown naturally

here is what I found on my logs today. just before I harvested them. they are SHiitake strain 852 from mushroom people. yummy ey!



 and here are the magical boats. had some most intresting times going down some rivers cough cough hmmmmm.

Silycyber, You make me jealous. I was wondering how long ago you innoculated your logs. I have about 30 logs or so that I innoculated 4 months ago. Did you H20 them to get them to fruit or did they just "pop" up? Can't wait for mine... I also did 10 logs each of reishi, chicken of the woods and pearl oyster. Can't wait for those either. Peace. I started these logs in april of 2001 i didn't see any mushrooms til december of last year. also I used wood dowels to inaculate these logs. I water them once every two weeks for about 15 min to get them really soaked but, if there is any mushrooms i do not water I just let nature run its course. this strain is very good i usually take 1 cap cut it in half and chup it up finely and add to my spagetti sause that I make myself. I even had some tonight. and boy was it yummy.
