Finally got the main node up at 2am this morning.
Then decided to pull out a few old servers from storage.
Lets see how it go's today 
Edit: lol, I think I changed everybody's colors.

Alex Trebek, Ythan, any comments on how fast it's going on my computer? I noticed as well that it does slow my computer down, which is normal, right? I ask these questions because I feel like something isn't quite right.

It shouldn't slow down your computer really. But you do only have 512MB ram. With mac os x loaded, folding using memory and then you trying to use memory, yea I would definitely say you would experience slowness.
I think laptops are generally slow. My dual core amd 1.90mhz toshiba laptop does less then yours so I would say your fine.

helix, I think they changed. Everybody's looks different from the other day and ythans is a lighter green then mine now, before we had the same green. Or maybe I am just smokin to much green

pretty sure a server would kick ass for folding aha. especially with the best hardware and the GPU version on its.. say 8 processors? I think you can do that with servers am I right? I know they have way more space for hardware.

yea i tried it with this computer, its a cerleron processor, 40gb HD, 256mb ram. I ran it for a week 12 hours a day and I didn't get any points out of it.

Well Alex you spanked me pretty good, at the moment you're pulling in almost 2x as many points per day! You must have a pretty fearsome folding farm. Anyway no doubt you earned that supporter account, you're all set up so it won't expire. And I hope you'll keep up your folding since we need a strong team leader.

I had about 14 comps going at the end. Most were 4 cores, some 8 cores, and a few duo's
I can't have all that running thou, I am still wondering what this months power bill will be

Yea I had one.
I have one in my kitchen and a bigger spare, so the spare went in the room.
I hope my neighbor's didn't think I was nuts when I put in a air conditioner in the window when it was 40 degree's outside
