All I know is...If they made a human sized bong box...I'd be more than happy to get in there. 
We use to blow hits at cats/dogs when we were younger/dumber. I can see how this case is considered animal cruelty. And what a dumbass for getting caught like that...
If you have a warrant out for marijuana...you problably shouldn't be smoking your cat-in-the-box bong.

I was in that subway station when that happened, between the crowd, and saw the kid flying away, he was ok, just scared. I wanted to make that avatar as soon as I saw the video, but someone made it first. I think it was like 2-3 ago. I am pretty sure it was a saturday night, cause those are the only time i ve seen these group of dancers, there was a little boy that owned the dance floor. That is in the 42st subway station.
Btw what an idiot that guy, stupid things happen to stupid people, if he did that to his house pet, imagine what he have done to other animals. Not a big deal since the cat is ok, but i think he deserves to get all fucked up with the law because his idiocy.

Its A Bad Idea To Do This To Any Animal (Put Them Into an Enclosed Area With Nothing But Smoke and NO additional Oxygen Supply.)
The Heated Smoke Probably Burned The Cats Eyes, Ears and Nose (not to mention alot of other parts of the animal that were exposed to The Smoke - if not soaking in filthy bong water where all the impuritys of the smoke wind up - THC (the protective aspect of marijuana) is not WATER soluable and therefor not in high enough amounts in the water to really have that well known cancer protective effect -
but to me this is less about the fact it was Marijuana Smoke and More About The Fact That Somebody Put a Small Animal Into a Box with No Additional Oxygen and a Ton Of Smoke (of Any Kind) - Remember This Is a 6 Month Old Kitten - Would You Put a 6 Month Old Human Baby Into a Box with Smoke??? No! If The Owner Thought Giving The Animal Marijuana as A Medicine - Thats 1 Thing - But There Are Other Ways of Administering It (Such as a Putting It In Food) But To do This? i hope he goes to jail for a while with some big tough cat loving criminals. that cat probably wont have any lasting health problems, but he should get felony animal cruelty anyway, not for the weed but for duct-taping his pet into a shoe box. fucking asshole makes us all look bad, now the prohibitionists will claim smoking weed makes you torture small animals

A man who stuffed his girlfriend's cat into a makeshift bong and smoked marijuana through it said Tuesday that he had done it on other occasions and that it calmed the cat down.
Acea Schomaker of Lincoln said he never intended to hurt the 6-month-old cat, Shadow.
Lancaster County sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic disturbance at the residence ticketed the 20-year-old Schomaker on suspicion of misdemeanor animal cruelty Sunday after catching him smoking marijuana from a boxlike contraption that had the cat stuffed inside its 12-inch by 6-inch base.
Schomaker's girlfriend, Marissa Vieux, also was ticketed for animal cruelty because she didn't try to stop Schomaker, Sgt. Andy Stebbing said.
Vieux, 22, said she took in the cat about two months ago from friends who abused it.
Schomaker said the cat would bite and scratch them but he didn't want to discipline it by swatting or squirting water at it. He said they didn't bring it to an animal shelter because they feared it would be put down.
So Schomaker said he decided to use the makeshift bong because he had heard about people calming their pets by blowing marijuana smoke in their faces.
"I know for sure this isn't the first time someone has done this," he said. "I'm just the first one to get caught."
He said he put the cat in the bong a total of three times and it seemed to calm the cat.
"Every time we took her out she would pretty much just lay down and proceed to clean herself and act like a stoned person," Schomaker said.
The bong had a foot-long piece of garden hose coming out of a Plexiglas box, with the top secured with duct tape. Schomaker said it was constructed in such a way that the cat did not get immersed in smoke to the extent some might believe.
Schomaker said law enforcement and animal specialists lectured him about why what he did was cruel, and that he learned from his mistake.
