hey
i was wondering is there a way to get around the pressure cooker when you are growing shrooms?
cause me and my friend spent the last of are money for everything else we need

This is probably a question for the Mushroom Cultivation thread, not the ethno garden.
Still: there's always a way around having a pressure cooker.  however, this is the simplest and most efficient way of ensuring a sterile substrate.  If you do anything else you'll only be increasing chance of conatminants.

But yer, mushroom cult plz

LOL Wrong hole mate.

Anyway yes there is, look up pf tek, you pretty much just boil the jars in a pot for 2 hours.

honestly, its pretty worth it to get one. Not only can you sterilize things with extreme ease, but you can make yourself some pot-roast or pulled pork in very little time.

make a post on craigslist around your area in wanted items for a pressure cooker...I live in a pretty small town and i got flooded with emails of people that would be happy to get rid of some nice big ones for 20 bucks.  Give it a shot.  Anyone can get 20 bucks
