Meams, I am still working up to one get-up with a 24kg. My biggest area of weakness is going from kneeling to the standing position. Great work btw Glad to see you back in the groove.

I did 9 TGUs per side with the 24 today, my form started to go at the end. I want to finish strong next time. I did some Hungarian deadlifts afterward, instead of swings. My hams are still sore from doing one legged deadlifts last time.
I think I am going to go do some yoga now, I need to relax my body.
-------------------- "A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'Universe'; a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty.
Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security."

I'm sure you'll nail the a 24kg TGU in no time - you break goals on the daily. I just can't wait to get my cardio back in shape so I can blast 20+ min of swings

Haven't had any time to go get it. The drive and everything will be a couple hour trek, and I have been busy. I have to go out that direction for a meting tomorrow, so I'm going to kill two birds with one stone.
Besides the physical toll of that rock work, I got me a little too much sun and am zapped. Plus it's been crazy at work, so I need to refresh before I gear up.
When it happens, hopefully tomorrow, you all will be the first to know

Did it! Pushed the fatigue off and went and got the 16KG. Got 20 plus minutes in with my shirt off (again) in the hot mountain sun.
100 swings, a couple of sets of presses, a couple of TGU's, some of these modified Larry Bird things that I do that are KILLER, and a few other movements to see how I feel.
I was more than ready to move up based on swings, and I like that there's a little resistance in the motion now. Everything else is going to of course be harder, but it makes me push all the harder.
Now I gotta rush off to work Hopefully I can have a refreshing day tomorrow, my first day off in almost 2 weeks, and then I can start hitting this thing in earnest on Friday.
Peace everyone, and thanks for the inspiration.

I worked a graveyard last night and got home this morning at 8:30am. I have to be back at work at 6pm, so I'm not going to be able to squeeze my KBing in today.
I'll be sure to do it tomorrow morning.

I have been doing lots of presses with my 28 and 32kg bells lately. I am building work capacity with light bells instead of training top strength due to the fact that I don't want to move an 88lb bell out west when I go. Today I did 210 strict military presses with the 28kg in 40 minutes.

I switched arms every set of 10. I did 105 per arm. That is the most presses I have ever done in a sitting so far.

Have you been doing this pretty much every day since you started this thread?

Just got done with my 16kg swings. Pretty promising workout. I felt like I could've gone another 2-3 minutes, but didn't want to jump up (in minutes) too quickly.

Nice one man. I got a good one in yesterday and fooled around a bit today, but I should be nice and fresh for tomorrow.

Just got done with my TGU day. I've officially worked my way from 1 24kg TGU/side up to 5. Consequently, my TGUs alone are now enough to constitute a "workout" -- so I've dropped the 24kg swings from my TGU day. My 5th one on each side had horrible form, so I'll probably repeat the 5/side next time around.

Dumb question here Meams, but do you mean 5 per side, or say 3 sets of 5 per side?
Good man. It looks like your back in the groove. I need to go take a hot epsom salt bath, stretch and fire one off.
