I agree, but it seemed like weiliiiiii was saying that because a thread existed with 15 views and no replies it was evidence of ego. Truthfully though, no one knows what he meant because he really didn't elaborate on that part?

No i know someone who would go in a thread with no replies, give a wrong ID but know what the mushroom was.
Then they would watch that thread get bombarded by others mocking them, or telling them they were stupid. They were just trying to see for themselves how egotistical some people can be in this forum, and its true ive seen it many times.
Egos do not mix with hunting mushrooms, thats what the person was getting at, they were pointing out how so many are willing to treat others like idiots but not teach.

If someone gives an ID that they do not think is correct, that is a violation of rule # 2, and you should hit the notify moderator button.

Yeah, life at the Hunting forum is brutal and everyone is so mean.
I think some people wear their sensitivities like a SeikoTM. There is nothing anyone can do about that. The mere act of testing someone in the way weiliiiii describes says something very unhealthy about them.
 I forgot we are human.
There are vicious forums; this isn't one of them. I respect every regular here; I attempt to respect every member, new or old. Sometimes that isn't possible.
