Don't ever sell back to a "gun buyback" program.
The only reason to turn in a gun is if it's stolen.
That pieces are worth WAY more than they'd give you anyways.

The worst thing you can do to a gun is to imprtoperly clean it or restore it. Some light gun oil or even sewing machine oil and a soft cloth to wipe it down with is all that should be used until you have an expert look at them. The CVA pistol isn't rare and is worth about $100-$125 in working condition. Most CVA's were kit guns and not worth much. I agree with the previous poster and the "blunderbuss" looks African or Middle Eastern but that style has been used by many countries around the world over the years. I would take a guess that yours was made to be used on horseback/camelback and was fired by bracing the butt against the hip. Again, DON"T CLEAN THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO DESTROY ANY COLLECTABLE VALUE THEY MAY HAVE!!!!!!!!!! AND DON"T GIVE THEM TO THE COPS!!!! They will only end up in some cops personal collection. You don't really believe gun loving cops would destroy anything of real value and not add it to their collection?

The percussion cap probably isn't worth a whole lot, I have an old flintlock similar to it, and it's actually quite fun to shoot. If the other one had any value it's gone with that shitty artwork on it. My advice would be just hold on to em for personal protection when you are traveling on your stagecoach.
