 Mescaline alcohol extraction dosage

Hi,
A friend is doing an alcohol extraction on 150g cactus powder. working on the 3rd and last pull now.
Question: I've read that 50g is a good starting dose, however, he is very experienced with psychedelics and would like a strong trip...but nothing out of hand.
would half of the extract (75g) be a good dose or should he try 100g??
Is it same to assume that the tar has an equal concentration of mescaline throughout?
I'd really like to hear from those who've done an alcohol extraction before.

not safe to assume.
most people only eat 25-35grams of cactus powder

I think it depends on where you go it from and what kind of cactus it is. If you actually dried out your own cactus and did it, then 30 or so grams would work, if its p. torch, it its san pedro you'll need a lot more. And if you bought just cactus powder it might not be as good, I think it usually is powder of the entire cactus and not just the outer part, if thats the case you might evenneed a hundred grams. I've bought the pwder before and have never had a good time with it. I think its that I thought I was eating enough it always ended up being a really low dose. I ate 85 grams last time and kinda tripped but had no visuals.

Anyone have opinions on the dosage question?
looks like it should be evaporated soon - how long will the tar keep? May be about a week before we can try it out.

The tar will last for a pretty long time, mescaline is pretty stable. Just store it in the fridge or a cold dark place.

yeah man three or 4 doses is the amount you and your friend have you could just split it cuase i have done that before and have 2 really strong ones. i make that stuff when ever i get hte chance

With the experience I have doing alcohol extractions, I would say that you have 3 decent doses or 2 strong doses.
And this stuff will last a very long time. Just refrigerate it or freeze it to prevent possible molds and whatnot from taking over.

I believe that more than just mescaline is drawn out of the cactus with this method, so you will get tars of varying potency. If you did a run on a non-active cactus, you would still get inactive tar.
If you were to do a true acid/base extraction, the potency should remain constant, and the end weight of your product would vary.
