Yeah, spores101 sucks. Next time order from a sponsor.

Start a thread explaining what you did exactly and let's see if we can see if it was your fault or the syringes.
Also, sometimes growth appears after a week.

Hey guys, I got a question! Well I made my girl go to the Asian store and get some more agar agar, and she got me the right stuff, but she also came home with some coconut agar agar. Now I am pretty sure it will work cause I still have to add everything, but was curious if it has any benefits or any drawbacks?? I am gonna give it try no matter what cause I love trying out new shit (plus the bars are bright red!! Red agar!!) Just want to know if there is any other input?!?! Also wanted to have this in my threads!! Thanks everybody!!!

Seeing how a lot of people have been having this problem...
DO NOT use aerosols or flammable liquids such as rubbing alcohol or Lysol in a glovebox or other enclosed container in the presence of a flame. It could possibly BLOW UP and cause you or your house to catch fire!

Coffee filters are the absolutely worst material. They do not filter out contaminant spores, they are made for straining coffee...

well I placed aluminum foil over them. idk if that helped. I did have contam problems with 3 jars, but that was because I didnt have a pc to sterilize my grain.
I guess polyfill is the better way to go
