can anyone point me to some famous sadists that lived within the past 200 years? i'm writing a paper on the nature of human violence and since sadism and masochism were thrown out of the DSMIV it's kind of hard to find any online with a credible source.

I don't know about sadists, but Bob Flannagan was quite a famous, self titled, Supermasochist.

I watched an A&E biography special on the Marquis de Sade, that dude was fuckin' extreme.

I been lurking and reading the forums...........just too dry here right now.I live pretty close to L.A. ,so it stays fairly dry here.
Plus its on fire to the north and south of me,20 miles north is the Monticeto or tea cup fire (lots of smoke here}and to the south its on fire too...plus they just caught a Hadji trying to light another one....
