Them 'porcupines' (we call them -the long piny clumps of 'grass/plants' in the picture above) are a great sign in my experience as they grow where theres usually a fair bit of water in the soil.

Had a job in Leeds yesterday so went up to the patch we discovered near there the other week but all was not good...

The ground seemed a lot more firmer and dryer than before and we came back with a measly 17 for our troubles

Saw a picker the other day, I asked him how much he'd found and we got talking for a little bit.
Gonna go out for a stroll tomorrow and see what I can find!

Well I doubt you found them in the UK, they're a tropical/sub-tropical species.

They're Panaeolus Cyanescens. Quite active little buggers as well. Heavy come up but an amazingly clear-headed, creative trip from there on out.

Heavy on the psilocyn, they're best fresh. Although, I had less than a dry gram in some mocha coffee around noon and I'm still feelin just dandy.

pan/cope cyans are on the active list for the uk, though i imagine that they are pretty rare.

I know what you mean, the guy had pretty much arrived as I was about to go with my pockets bulging haha. It can get a bit competetive I suppose. I still need to be able to leave with bag fulls though  :frown:
