We found thirty odd before a job ou in Yorkshire the other week, always good to find a new patch!
My mate found thirty at an old faithful site near us and then 200 at another... this place looked flooded a few weeks ago so this may have helped. This is the most anyones got out of these patches at this time of year in 10 years pickin.
I had a quick scout at a new spot an old skooler recommended to me this morning but it was dry as a bone there.
My plan is to seek the Soma before the libby season kicks off big style then I'm gonna cain it all over!
Chuffin gutted its been all sunny last week or so though, it was looking primetime before that!
Just a question to those who've found a load, are these in secluded boggy areas? Must be really i guess

Aint that the truth, we need to do some sort of rain dance (lol).
Its seriously getting me down now, no rain for another whole week next week.
Im half tempted to do a bit of tresspassing into an unoccupied house and get a hose onto my fields for a night or so.
N.B. I am joking, however it could bee a good option if this shit weather continues.

Another whole week? fuck. It was going so well too!
I'd probably do the same if it didn't involve a hefty walk to the spot.

It was all looking so good a couple of weeks ago...
Noticed mud everywhere really drying out.

Hi,
first time I've posted, I'm never entirely sure what's growing and get far too excited when i see anything. I've watched most of the films on you tube and things but I'm gonna post a couplf of photos on here and see what the verdict is.
This are grown behind a cherry tree in my back garden. Not convinced that they are caps anyway but I thought I'd get confirmation.
Can you take a spore print on normal cartridge paper or do you need blotting paper? The ones photographed were on normal copy paper.

Hi Guys,
This was my first time hunting liberty caps today. I went to a field this afternoon where cows were grazing and managed to find these...

I searched for 2 hours and only found 14. After looking at various pictures on here I'm not to sure if these are liberty caps. Can anyone shed ony light on these mushrooms?

Never mind, I will keep hunting. I will try out different locations tomorrow. I've read many posts on here with people saying that it took them ages to find liberty caps first time so I'm not to downhearted.
I can only search at the weekends though due to work.

the two small ones on the right and the small one in the centre of shot look like good candidates to me
