Thanks for the info Hippie3 i have read your teks on dunking and always thought that the fridge was for the dual purpose of cold shocking while dunking. thanks for clearing that up.

Iv'e always placed a jar filled with cotton and hydrogen peroxide in my fridge also with baking soda, it helps to keep it clean also. If you have large drawers place cakes in them, this always worked for me to keep bacteria to a minimal. Also try to keep the fridge clean and no molding food in there.
