it would greatly improve my quality of life if i could make strong booze (>10%) in under a week w common grocery store items n without elaborate (difficult to hide) distilling equip so the thins i need r fast fermentation w common yeast, fruit etc n juice n fruit or honey etc i fig people do this in prisions so it can't be thathard...

well do you care about taste? you can't make booze without some sorta still, but you can make wine. Water, Sugar, and Yeast. It might hurt ya though...
Kinda like prison wine.
You might wanna check out freeze distillation for simplicity. home distilling Many types of Simple stills that don't work that great but are easily hidden.
Like a pot with a metal salad bowl covering the top. Fill the bowl with ice, and put your wine in the pot, set a heavy container of some sort in the center of the pot, like a pyrex measuring cup--something that wont float--but no wine in the measuring cup! Put the pot on the stove on low and put the bowl of ice on top of the pot. The Alchy will steam off the wine and condense on the ice cold bowl and slide down the underside of the bowl finally dripping into the pyrex cup in the middle.

Honey is kind of expensive for cheap wine. I have used two cans of Welches 100% grape juice and a cup of sugar. all that goes into a plastic milk jug add water to a little above the handle-it will foam alot when fermenting. Add 1 packet of Fleischman's bread yeast and put a balloon on top to keep air from getting in. It'll take about a week. Keep it at around 75F-if it gets too warm it will taste really bad. The balloon will fill with air. When the balloon deflates it is done fermenting.

It should only take a week at most. I have fermented five gallons of beer in about 7~8 days; one gallon of wine shouldn't take too long, as long as the yeast is good. You have to keep oxygen away from it when it is fermenting or it will go bad. The first thing I ever fermented was Welch's wine. It went great the first time. The second time I was sloppy and let air get to it. It didn't ferment out and tasted like corked wine...nasty.

you should have enough alcohol to get drunk in a week. itll be pretty fizzy like soda though. i usually wait 2 weeks then rack it into another container for the final ferment.

nope. 1-2 weeks is all you need to have basic, low-medium alcohol in ghetto wine. assuming you have enough sugar and you start with enough yeast.

When I made wine with baking yeast I used a whole packet of yeast (comes in a three pack) to a gallon of mix. Baking yeast will make alcohol. If you really get sterile you can use the same yeast from one batch to the next....but thats pretty advanced.
If you're talking about using honey, it could take a few months. Just follow the welches recipe. I think honey is a little more difficult for the yeast to consume. Also, if you use to much sugar, the resulting wine will give you worse hangovers.

1.5 liter coke bottle 2 liter will work 1 liter white grape juice 2 cups sugar 1 packet bread yeast 2 oz water 80-90F
Put grape juice and sugar in 1.5 liter bottle. Dissolve sugar in grape juice by shaking.
Put yeast in warm water. sprinkle on top, don't shake. let it slowly dissolve for about 15 minutes, then swirl to mix evenly. Dump yeast slurry into grape juice/ sugar solution.
Put the cap on LOOSELY and set it somewhere where it won't make a mess if it falls over or explodes. A rubbermaid or sterilite tub would work well.
For the first three days, squeeze out all the air (CO2) in the bottle and suck back in fresh air. Put the cap back on tightly and shake for about a minute. Loosen the cap again so it doesn't explode.
Keep it somewhere around 80F. Should be ready in a week to ten days.

we dont want to ban the cripple, we want the cripple to stop starting so many damn threads about the same thing. post ALL hooch questions in ONE topic. theres no need for 10 different topics with different questions about the same thing. it gets annoying.
and i highly advise against pushing out the co2 and sucking in fresh air. co2 is a barrier for contamination and thats just asking for vinegar.
