a mescaline tea taste thread

I'm likely going to be preparing some tea fairly soon, but I'll have trouble with one thing - the taste.
Over the course of the half-dozen times I've tasted the tea I've come to have a very low tolerance and struggle more and more to get it down.
Last time, I boiled the matter down to a thick syrup, and spread it on pieces of toilet paper for parachuting. It didn't work as well as I think it could have because once the fluid was boiled down so far a lot of it ended up rapidly drying and hardening onto the pot and such, I think I lost a lot of material.
My best bet to beat the taste is to finish with the least amount of syrup possible. Is there anything I can add to the mix that might keep it from hardening and burning to the pot so fast?
I am still researching alcohol and other extractions but don't have time for any of them at the moment.
Any tips or ideas?
Surely there's got to be some cooks out there somewhere who've thought on this and likely experimented.
Thanks

You can make a full extraction... Or maybe just a crude alcohol extract from your dried cactus chips... Let it dry and roll the 'hash like' tar into a pill and swallow, or encapsulate.

Thanks felix, but like I said I do not have time for any other extraction method this time around. Mostly because of the time it takes to dry the material obviously.
I was hoping we could try and be creative with this commonly used method, throw around some ideas and gather knowledge to make a good thing better.

There is a much quicker way to dry it by using desiccant you can find at any hardware store. I had the same problem not being able to get down the horrible tasting cactus. SO I just dry it a couple days then put it in a home made desiccant chamber and it will be totally dry over night.
I use the stuff for my shrooms and cactus skins now.

chocolate worked great for a chaser when downin mescal tea, i bet lemon juice and hersheys syrup --as odd of a mix it is-- will mask the taste very well when mixed with cactus tea. I would also add honey because it soothes my stomach and has always prevented nausea.

we find the best thing to do is get some Allen's Lollies Party Pack and chew a couple of stronger tasting flavours (so that our mouth is coated with the stuff) then drink down the syrup. This masks most of the taste

Is it possible to evaporate all of the water off so your left with crust at the bottom of the pan. Or could this possibly damage the mescaline?

I doubt it would damage anything, but you'd want to be sure you did it in a glass pan so you could scrap it all up afterwards. It'd probably resemble BBQ sauce BURNT to the pan.
Zinglons Acolyte: The smoothie suggestion sounds worth trying.. boil it down as normal, let it cool, put it in a blender with ice and so on..
KirshCereza: Allen's Lollies Party Pack, if I could find some!

Just take a gulp every five minutes, chase with orange juice. Its really not that bad. If you can handle tripping balls you can handle drinking a bitter drink, no?

yea you dont have to swallow it all at once, just take big gulps and chase it and take another gulp when youre able
in fact its suggested that u take it over a period of time anyway
