Some hash oil I made the other day.
9 grams in, 1.2 grams out. 13.3% return.
I've got the exact same results with my last 3 runs, leaving me to believe my weed contains ~15%THC. When I run the buds for a 2nd time I don't get much more oil, maybe .1 or .2

I don't think so...
I know after 1 run there will still be active cannabinoids left in there, but after 2 runs I think its pretty much spent.
I have never tried it myself and I never hear of anyone elsse moking or cooking with their weed after making BHO with it.

13.3 % return? Does it really stretch the 9 grams that much farther? Also, hash made from pure bud vs. hash made from female plant with leftover bud. Do you have any thoughts you could add to that question?

Blue Dream purchased from Denver, Colorado Medical Dispensary for $150 an ounce before tax.
It's probably a 7 out of 10 IMO (I have high Colorado standards)
Here's some ear wax hash that got tested at FullSpectrumLabs at 85% THC! It was $25 a gram before tax.

thats pretty cheap for dispensary standards i have to say, definitely for the BHO
and that blue dream looks pretty dank. there was soo much blue dream that had flooded my area a while back, not to mention it is still very popular .
alot of this has to due with genetics,
blue dream has great yields, and is pretty hardy not to mention a great smoke.
from what i know it is very easy to grow, and i have heard it is actually hard to fuck up even for outdoor just because of its simplicity. that is why it has become so popular.
its a cross of dj shorts blueberry X unknown haze.
fun fact - strain originated in santa cruz ca

Blue Dream is dank when it is actually taken to 77+ days and flushed and cured correctly. Unfortunately most of it on the marked is harvested way too early. This is what gives it a bad name in smoking circles and on pot friendly websites. Also a lot of people don't care for 'up' highs and label anything which doesn't nail them to the couch as non-potent. I'm telling you, Blue Dream is great. It just needs to be done right. It's not an eight week indica and shouldn't be treated as such. If people actually had properly grown Blue Dream I think they would sing a different tune.
I think it has a perfect balance of haze and blueberry in the smoke, flavor, and high departments. The yield, terpine, and trichome development are top notch. She is real up and euphoric for me but if I smoke too much she gives me a trippy and psychedelic weed high. Good shit.

they also sell "essential oil extractors" at etsy.com which are just glass on glass butane extraction tubes.
also, i normally just goto ace and buy a length of copper pipe and some end caps and use that.
works nicely because you can throw it in the freezer and cool it down so the butane remains liquid inside your tube for better extraction.
