found these today, no idea what they are!

ahoy
looking for an ID on these mushrooms. Picked them today, they look like libery caps to me but then I haven't seen any for years so we are probably wrong.
We picked some that are a lot bigger but look the same as the ones in the pictures - brownish conical cap and stem, dark gills but they are larger than I'd expect them to be.
any help appreciated!

Panaeolus species, likely one of the various types now lumped into one catch-all species (Panaeolus papilionaceus ). http://www.mushroomexpert.com/panaeolus_papilionaceus.html
Not liberty caps but they often occur in the same areas so keep looking.
